A simple yet relaxing game, I was playing it with my own music in the backround. Not much to look at but neither is Sudoku and such games.

I like the original concept of a varying field of view as an idea, but playing the game I felt like something was missing. It ended up not mattering so much if I could see 2 or 5 steps ahead as there was nothing to loose or gain. I was always safe and it needed some risk. Other than that the choice of soundtrack was also good.

Thank you very much for taking the time to both play the game and give your very thought out and useful feedback! I really appreciate what you pointed out these points. Certainly a lot of the ideas we had on the bonuses and negative outcomes get lost in the chaos of constantly moving!  Not to mention the enemies are also there.  If we decide to work on this again, all the points your raised would certainly help the team.

A simple yet fun game, requires a bit of forethought before a move. From a visual standpoint which is closer to what I know about, there is a bit of jarring difference in style from the dice and the rest of the terrain. The colour palette could have been tweaked a bit to create more harmonious looking levels. Otherwise a good attempt

One of the more original ideas and implementations of the dice mechanic, but a bit confusing for me when trying to understand what move to make to get the desired effect!

A fun idea for a game, I enjoyed the art style and the look of the main character a lot. I found the collision detection between the mc and flying enemies to be quite sensitive and I died a lot from jumping and then realizing there is an enemy there! Overall a game with potential to be expanded and improved on.

A unique mechanic compared to other games, that the dice dictating time instead of abilities. The game is quite challenging, not simply due to the dice and luck but as a platformer not executing a jump properly can spell your doom! This gives the game idea multiple facets of difficulty which I appreciate.

I enjoyed the background aesthetics and the pixel style of enemies.  The fighting I found fun, if a little challenging once level 3 comes around.

Such simple idea executed so well! With relaxing music and clean design. The top levels were satisfying puzzling.

Great job guys! The visuals are very appealing, the gameplay is varied and fun, and its one of the few game with a narrative going on in the background to add extra character. From all the varied outcomes of the dice throw I particularly like being upside down :)

Very atmospheric game, with the cinematic music soft lighting and well chosen sound effects. The game-play was fun but challenging at times,  this is due to the dice being unkind. A good looking game that can be expanded upon even more to add more combat types and events. Oh and I do like the board reset animation!

As a fellow plane floating in space appreciator, I have to congratulate you on your originality in coming up with this idea! The visuals are great, the sound cosmic. You added a lot of variety already with the different level setups, it was challenging yet fun.

Although a simple game, I found it quite challenging! Or maybe I am just tired :) The music with water visuals made it quite relaxing overall. Even when failing.

I have to say I enjoyed the crowd cheering me on after each round :D The game is quite fun, and I can see the concept being expanded more with varying weapons etc.

Awww, like all the keyboarders out here I got to experience the cool backround sheme tho :D

Excellent effort! There is a a lot to like about this game. From the visuals to the gameplay which feels very polished for a game jam! From the visuals I particularly loved the satisfying feedback that comes from smashing a mushroom as it goes up on a splat.  The music as well matches the pace of the game.

Well that put a smile on my face XD

Enjoyed playing this, especially the way the enemies vary and surprise you every time. The visuals with all the different effects and trails are really godd and add a nice overall touch to the game. If anything could be added maybe just a points counter and it would have everything!

I found the game a very enjoyable concept, whats not to like? Building as well as tower defense :P

Interesting concept that the dice dictates which area of the battlefield is in play. A player never knows where exactly his units will be most needed! I found the animations a bit confusing though, it looks like the subtraction of health may happen before the animation plays?

I enjoyed the dithered black and white effect, reminded me of comics. Like previous commenters mentioned it would have been nice for more variety, that being said this is the first game with a dice based narative I have come across and I like the effort to do something different!

I found the concept funny, going through the trash as a cat. I am  not sure if I was doing the searching correctly though as I would never manage to fill the bar. The visuals are a bit intense but I can see the potential of the direction this idea was going!

From the start you are met with the simple yet great looking visuals! The low warm light and long extended shadows that are cast on all the surfaces create a very relaxing feel. I enjoyed the rolling mechanic and the fact that enemies can roll you back as well. The transitions from area to area with the smooth platform motion was also very satisfying. Great effort!

I have definitely played this game the longest out of all the games I tried. It is simply fun. I am a sucker for these kind of games and this one was made very well with fun weapons (shotgun is the best of course) and a variety of enemies. And what a refreshing thing it is to have a tutorial :).  The sound and effects matched the aesthetic of the game, I was grateful to have the audio cue to throw the dice even though I missed the window many times. Good job!

Thank for taking the time to play the game and leave feedback! I have to admit during development I enjoyed purposely seeing him fly off as well.

I think the idea is good overall. I didn't fully understand when i should load the gun or if its automated the targeting system. I would say though that the helicopter mechanic seemed unnecessary.

I loved the aesthetic and the limited color palette! I found the gameplay a bit confusing but that could just be me. I guess you could add more notes here on the webpage on how to play it.

Very creative idea! Once the game got going I found it fun to keep building.

Simple yet enjoyable! Visuals could be a little more polished but perhaps this is too much to ask of one person in a game jam.

Really well done! The most polished looking game I have seen yet. I love the plasticine style. The gameplay has a lot of variation to keep it challenging if a big chaotic! :D

A nice little game! Keep at it, I enjoyed the pixel style for the visuals.

Thank you for playing the game and the feedback! I think your comment is spot on, it is very hard to keep track of what just happened underneath  the player.

I really enjoyed the theme. I found it original. The visuals were simple, clean and effective. It made me imagine some sort of targeting computer from a sci-fi space ship.  Nicely done!

I really like the  word combo creating a variety of spells, its such a simple looking game but I found myself with a smile on my face enjoying the mayhem!

Interesting idea to have the physics based shaking of the dice directly controlled by the player throughout the whole level

Well done! The idea is great, the game is genuinely fun to play, with good visuals and a great soundtrack! I like the little touches like the triangles appearing more often when you get higher speeds.
