game oozes style but some bugs took away from the experience such as teleporting to spawn everytime i touched a wall or object for some reason
this isn't bug.
teleporting is mechanic... some sort of.
I really like the visuals, indeed as you intended this reminds me of PS2 era, really pinned it, well done!! the mechanics are cool and fun, the overal game feels right, I want to play this game further, I hope you could continue this game after the jam is over, really cool idea overal, I rate graphics, control, fun and mechanics the most, all is cool, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game too, thanks!!!

The music is a banger, and the visuals are really silly and amazing! movement just feels lackluster as well as combat. Other than that it's still enjoyable!

It's a pretty silly game, I like the art it's cute and the music is a banger, I like it but it's very hard to understand. I didn't get that the only way to deal damage was with the cannon and that it automatically shoots and you just have to aim it, which is a neat concept. I'd like if you could make it spin in the other direction because if you overshoot it's game over most of the time. There is little to no feedback if you hit the boss, maybe make the boss sprite flash white or having an SFX play when he is hit, that'd also help with knowing if I hit the boss when they are at the right or the left because aiming in those directions is very hard because of the perspective, it's also very hard to spot projectiles that come from those directions because they look flat at certain angles, maybe make it so that the sprites always face the camera no matter what.

Pretty cool concept! The music slaps and I liked the animations.
It was really difficult to aim the cannon left and right because it's hard to tell the angle due to the perspective. Perhaps some sort of crosshair on what it's aiming at could help. The cannon only moving one direction was also tough because if you overshot the angle, you would have to spin all the way around again and hope you didn't overshoot it again.

Yeah, that’s hard to make, but I think if I (with my friend Ivan) win and get some money from this jam, we will post Hatgame on Steam in Early Access, OR in Full-Full edition.

Really fun and unique boos fights :) my only complain is that the player is kinda slow, making it feel a bit sluggish to control. But i honestly quite like the art style. very reminiscent of pizza tower

Heya! Thought your game was really cool. After the jam, I think you should completely rework how the cannon works, maybe using q and e to rotate it 1/8th every time. You should also rework the bosses; I think the designs are super unique and cool, but the mechanics of how they work aren't too interesting. Including some lore could help too. But in my opinion, if you rework the cannon and bosses, the game becomes what it was meant to be, which seems like a super cool experience. The music was tight, the art was cool, overall a good experience. Good job, and I hope I get to see more of this.

Oh, I saw your hat in Discord!!)) I'm really glad I finally stumbled upon your game here. I love how you combined the 3D environment with 2D characters and objects—it looks really cool! Although some elements might be worth converting to 3D in the future. There are definitely things to improve and expand upon, but even so, I'm happy that you managed to submit everything on time!! This is a great project that's definitely worth spending some time on. Awesome work!!

I liked the style and how well the animation is done, I believe the game has a lot of potential to improve a lot more! I think there could be some way to press a button to be able to spin the cannon, because if it goes a little past the target, you have to spin it all over again. Congratulations on the game!
