Hello everyone I am Steve T, senior editor at Shock Site Gaming and creator of our new initiative . . . The Indie Corner. The indie corner is the result of years of studying the videogame market. We at Shock Site came to realize how powerful the indie market can be. When a 16 bit rpg made by one person sells more copies than a triple A developer, well it paints a very stark picture of how the market is shifting. I came to see that Indie games and their developers need more coverage, need more attention, need more people like us talking about them and reviewing them for the world to see. I looked over out sites analytics and saw that we have the install base to provide these games with the exposure they need. So are you an up and coming game dev who just wants to get the word out? Well I'm your man, I will be reviewing and posting articles about your games on the site until my fingers fall off, and all you have to do is post in this thread.
Update 5/22/2018: I just wanted to pop in and say how happy I am after receiving so much support for this initiative. We here at Shock Site originally believed that this wouldn't pick up much traction, but I'm happy to have been proven wrong. The staff here are working real hard to cover everyone's games, but it's proving a lot more daunting than we originally believed. Everyone's got such imaginative and in depth experiences that we're having to dedicate more and more resources to getting done. So for those of you worried about us falling behind, don't worry, we're doing just fine. I look forward to reviewing everyone's game.
