Really love the art style,  cute charactor and equipment,it reminds me of old arcade games .I play it for long time to reach deeper level, really fascinating game. Expecting your new version!

wow, that's a very complex game you achieved to make in this short time, great job! I'd wish for some more explanations on gear in-game (maybe  via mouse hover?). other than that the game looks amazing, I really like the pixel art :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the complements and feedback! The gear stats are all visible, but you do have to equip them to be able to see the stats, and the stat explanations are not in-game (yet). Showing stats on mouse hover is definitely in the plans.

Huge fan of auto battlers, and this was a nice implementation of it! My one gripe is the game just sort of tosses you into the deep end without much explanation. I think it would be nice to have an easier way to compare equipped vs dropped gear stats. Otherwise, really cool!

Developer

Thank you! I'm especially grateful to get some feedback from another auto battler fan. Agreed, reading the description on itch is pretty much required since we didn't have time to build a better tutorial in. We'll be addressing these issues after the popular vote for the jam concludes, hope you'll check it out again then!

Well done on the art style! And I enjoyed the gameplay, reminded me a lot of that Medabots GBA game! Keep it up!!

Developer

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it :). I've never played that Medabots game, but it looks fun.

Beautiful graphics with intricate gameplay mechanics, I think it would look and feel even better with some custom cursor textures and animations
I also appreciate the table with information on the game's page, very thoughtful :)

Developer

Thank you for the kind and constructive feedback! We plan on continuing work on this at some point, and better interface responses is a high priority for that work.

lovely adorable interface, I feel however it could benefit of more mouse over effects.

the characters are neat as well and I love it being an autobattler, makes me think a bit of loop hero, but also C.A.T.S

Developer

Thank you for playing and giving feedback :D! It's definitely something we are keen on amending.
We were inspired by Kairosoft games, Super Auto Pets, and Slay the Spire.

This was a very unique experience and the graphics are beautiful. The depth of the mechanics is insane for a game this cute but it's a bit hard to get a hold of because of the limited screen space.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the great feedback! I agree that the screen space is too small for the information we need to provide the player. My husband and I intend to update the game (after the jam ends) with this feedback in mind.

This is incredible. I was quite confused at first, but reading the game description cleared it up. That's a necessary reference for sure. I'd love to see comparisons between new equipment and current equipment on hover!

The combat log can feel quite overwhelming too, I more or less ignored it because there was so much text being output in there. For the most part I had no idea what was happening during the battle, and I picked my equipment based on guesses. I wonder if there's a way to compress down the information in the combat log so its easier to read as the battle progresses?

Developer

Thank you so much for all of this feedback.

Agreed, having a better reference for "how and what" in the game would have been a good idea. Also, yes, the logs were a bit verbose. We were going for an aesthetic, but in retrospect, the presentation could have been provided in a way that better-communicated information that's actually useful.

Submitted(+1)

You definitely hit the aesthetic, it's beautiful!

The art is banging. The game was a bit hard to udnerstand

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback, I just updated combat explanation on the itch page, take a look!

The art is really well made. It would be nice if there was an easier way to compare stats of different items.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. Yes! I was so happy with the art made by my partner https://spiraledout.itch.io/

Love the music & art, have no idea what's going on or how to strategize for combat though.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I've added a better combat explanation on the itch page, hopefully that can make the strategies easier to understand.
