Lovely shmup! The aged white works really well for the setting and the difficulty increase was nice and stable.

When I figured out I could use the mouse buttons to turn and shoot it worked a treat and was a lot of fun.

Hey thanks for playing! We made sure to include a bunch of control options aside from the ones shown in the game, so I'm glad you liked it :)

Fun Gameplay, color pallet  and Sfx. LOVE the rotating Eiffel tower.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it!

Really cute game! I love the visuals!

The 3 shot limit feels a bit odd to me since it rarely happens, and when it does just feels a bit glitchy.

I love the pivot, makes it feel very dynamic. Nice job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! We wanted the 3 shot mechanic because it would create an interesting trade-off between being away from the edge of the screen versus being close so you can rapid fire more. I get it can be confusing though 😅

Pulled out my controller instead of using the keyboard controls.

If there's a Croissant, surely there's a Baguette I thought. And then the Thick Baguette ended me ðŸ’€.
The art is beautiful, especially the Eiffel tower.

Gave me an S rank, so in turn I rate this game an S rank!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed!

Quite an addictive game with a fantastic art style. I really like how the enemies come from both sides and you can change directions depending on what the situation requires.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the play :) we also really enjoyed designing waves with the pivot in mind.

Submitted(+3)

Not sure but the enemies stopped spawning after a while and it was just me with nothing to shoot! Sacre bleu!

I like the low-contrast colour choices, and the art was cute :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! That's quite odd, the game is supposed to continue until the boss. Was there a specific moment where that happened?

Submitted(+3)

Really like the music! And the sound effects!

Developer

Thanks!

Such a great game, the way you worked with the 1 bit restrictions is just perfect. 5 Stars!

Thanks for playing!

Nice touch of having your ship be a croissant! Really nice game :)

Developer(+2)

Hehehe thanks!

Nice shmup! I really liked the retro music and overall vibe, plus the challenging dodge sections were good)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the nice words! :)

Love the animation and graphic.

Developer

Thank you!

I love me some good ol' fashioned score chasers, so you got me there! Excellent retro-inspired sound design which just made things feel even more enjoyable. The 1-bit art is very nice, and I liked the choice of color palette. Not only charming, but easy on the eyes. Nice one!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for all the feedback, we're glad you enjoyed it!

Great artwork and color palette! This game was so good and so polished! Fantastic work!

Thanks for the feedback!

Reeealy liked it. The pivot mechanic is such a nice spin (ha, get it) on an old genre. Great presentation with lots of polish, great job guys

Developer(+2)

Thanks! A lot of the gameplay really revolves around the pivot hahaha

I got an S rank and a high score of 38400!

I enjoyed the pseudo 3d Eiffel tower effect you had going on, I used somewhat similar sensibilities in the design of my own game, CHRONOLISK.
The little art of Hélice giving me the thumbs up was very cute ! :D

Developer(+2)

Thank you for playing! I'm really happy with how the visuals turned out. The rank illustrations were a pretty late addition, but they add some nice charm :)

How many week did you guys spend on the Eiffel xDD ? Nice game. The control is quite new to me and hard at first.
And the control wont work if I play in full screen.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the feedback! Hmmm, that's a bit strange. When I try to run the fullscreen web version it controls fine.  Are you using keyboard or a controller?

Submitted(+3)

Got 18800 on the first try, pretty cool game!) The artstyle gives warm feeling, the game itself is very polished. Definitely fun!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I chose the color palette to be inspired by the Eiffel tower's colors, I think it worked quite well!

Submitted(+3)

I was soo close to reaching the end :(

Got a highscore of 25700,

The background was cool but I felt like the ship blended in with it sometimes. But yeah really enjoyed my time with it

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and for playing!

Pretty cool game. Especially in terms of graphics and animation. The only thing, I would try to reduce the health of all enemies and increase the number, in this case the gameplay will become more dynamic, and the trick with the turn of the ship will open from a new side

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback!

Cute art style and decent sound design! I wish the game had some save system, I died near the end and feel lazy to start over again.

Developer

Thank you for playing and the kind words! The game is meant to be an arcade-like experience with the goal of getting a high score, even if you die, you still get a score at the end :)
