What do you like about your game?
Acerola's videos motivated me to learn shaders, and this is my first project for which I wrote my own shader. I also learned how to use blender for this project. I hope I was able to create an atmospheric game that other people can enjoy and get my message across: don't be afraid!

AMAZING ATMOSPHERE
YOUR SOUND DESIGN IS FIRE
NOW, IF U ALLOW ME, IMMA GO CRY TO MY BED WITH THE LIGHTS ON
i was so confused for a while, kept on dying in the dark but got it at the end. very creepy and good time:)
I really love the atmosphere you made with the shaders!
It was a very enjoyable game, the art was really well done. Definitely scared the crap out of me, and on replay it gave me something to think about.
I really enjoyed this game. The concept was relatable, mechanics were fun and not tedious, and it did give me a scare. I had trouble at the start but was able to get the hang of it quick. Good job!
Really nice concept. I also found a bug, I pressed esc while the first cutscene was playing and my game froze and I needed to re-open the game!
Oh, I clearly should have worked that one out. Thanks for the comment and for playing!
Extremely cool game ! I wonder how the changing paintings work.
Short and sweet :D
woah this game builds up such a nice atmosphere! it really captured the feeling of anxiety roaming around at night as a child. visualizing horrific things that aren't and going through multiple precautions braving through the dark, it all feels so relatable xd. it was very fun exploring the house and seeing what the difference were between how its viewed in the light and the dark, the environment is really well put together. the audio design is super good as well, the really loud but clear clicking sound of your light sells the idea that you're actively charging your battery thus being safe. then when it gets placed with a weaker sound when it gets taken away from you it really elevates the level of dread feel to an even higher level!
this was very nice to go through, also enjoyed that message at the end! great work!
Well done! I dig the visuals and the atmosphere. I like how there were no monsters or jumpscares.
I was stuck for a long time trying to pick this thing up to reach the fusible 😅
(Thank you for making this available on Linux :))
Ahahaha Yeah, I think in real life there were obviously more different ways to get the fuse, but we have what we have. I think I should have added more options. Thanks for the Linux comment, I was worried about it working.
I don’t like horror games, but I enjoyed this one. Short and nice.
Amazing horror experience. the size of the furniture really hits home that i was a little kid. Nice use of shaders and a great art. Short but polished and tidy.
While the gameplay was short, I found the concept of using the light to reveal areas in the map to be pretty unique!
Good luck with the jam!
Phenomenal game!
Everything was superb in this - the atmosphere, unique gameplay, the subtle story, the ending - Chef's kiss. Fantastic job indeed.
Best of luck with the future developments and the game jam. Cheers!
really great horror game with unsettling atmosphere. i literally jumped when i saw red eyes near the circuit breaker (im still not sure if they were real)
I really liked the shaders, you used it in a very clever way. I also liked the final, really comforting. Nice game!
1min 34sec speedrun wr
great shader work. Really imaginative idea and definitely sold the feelings of childhood fear and fear in general
keep it up, I anticipate this game will get a lot of attention outside of the jam too
