This game was really fun! I loved the idea of having different ways of having to target different enemy types, and the idea of launching the tactical rizz grenade at your enemies was cracking me up. I will say, the green enemies could sometimes still spawn their attack after you killed them, which was essentially guaranteed to kill you, but that was the only real note I had. Great job!

How does your game represent "Power"?
in POWER OF LOVEBALL, you dabble against the forces of physical power (red), electrical power (yellow), political power (green), and of course, the most important power of all. The power of love!
Each type of power has a unique mechanism behind it that aims to represent the type of power as best we could.

Clever idea, never thought of mixing these two styles of gameplay together! As others have said would have been nice to connect the two together a bit more mechanically, but had a great time nonetheless. Also really liked all the character designs, and the music is outstanding!
i hit them with my balls, because rizz
seriously though, very cool and creative entry! As an aide, I think there's potential in this sort of "dual-format" game for more interplay between the two. like, unlocking rizz/dialog options via hidden collectables in the platforming segments, or getting extra boons for the platforming segments by successfully rizzin someone up. If you're considering continuing development on it in the future, that'd be a cool direction to go in! Great work!
Nice entry! Very cool interpretation of the theme, I liked bouncing between the two different styles of game play. Definitely preferred the ball mode, that was really cool and unique. Having to pick and choose whether to do splash damage or not was really fun and could definitely be the core mechanic of a full game. The dating segments were pretty funny and I appreciate all the insane person options, those were always funny. Great work!
I love the art! And the music is nice! The gameplay was a bit tricky sometimes (my own skill issue...) but it was satisfying to clear all the levels! I enjoyed playing this game!
Those visual effects are very nice: loveball, background for the final boss especially. The dating sim part was super charming, but I wish the platforming section and the dating sim were tied together mechanically.
Rizzing left and right, Seren!!
Controlling projectiles with the mouse is a really cool concept that I'd like to see explored more. Switching between platforming and dating sim was nice, it kept things fresh and mixed things up. I would have liked seeing more efforts put into the level design and mechanics. Otherwise, great job. Very polished! I am concerned about how many people Seren flirts with though...
Ironically the first level in this game was also the hardest, there were too many narrow paths for my projectile to go through and I'd have probably given up if the soundtrack wasn't so good! After some mingling I finally passed the first level, got my first rizz test and then I enjoyed the subsequent levels much more and eventually became the ultimate rizz master. Overall, despite some initial pains, I had a great time with this game. Well done!
I was wondering why I have never had a successful dating experience. turns out I should have just shot yellow robots with splash damage for years
Super good- dating, fun platforming, RIZZ++ it has it all
check out our game? :‑P
More games should start at the Dojo. Liked the visual effects of the ball as it moved and splashed. Ball also followed mouse very smoothly. Nice job!
Omg, this is the perfect game..!!! Cant think of anything I'd do differently lol
