Really cool that you can build the roads. Super cool little game, would really like to see this expanded on.

The building your own paths feature is fun, and its an interesting  take on the theme! One issue is that you don't seem to be able to see the whole map on the later levels when playing in web mode, unless I missed something.

Developer

there should be instructions when the game launches that show you can use wasd to move the camera around, it might be bugged on some browsers or something though, I didn't have much time to do testing, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I enjoy the ability to create your own path even if I botched it several times over. It gave me a good excuse to restart and try new tactics when things went south.

I love how you can plan the roads! Maybe adding towers that do area damage could allow for more interesting pathing, or maybe add more plants over time that you need to defend, so that you don't just end up making a single optimal route. Overall tho, nice little game!

I enjoy the framework of an isometric grid, and like the potential of city planner meets tower defense with a fun agricultural aesthetic :)

Developer

Thank you! That's really what I was going for, so I'm glad it worked out!

really like the simplicity and the idea of building your paths in a tower defense game. wish you could edit your placements and quit to menu.

Developer

Ty! I'm glad you liked it, sadly I didn't have time to implement all the QOL features I wanted because it was coming down to the last minute, but those features were definitely on my mind lol

Sucker for a good tower defense game. Nice that the roads are controllable, adds a different feel than if the map was preset.

serves those pesky protestors right. how dare they have opinions

If I want to grow giant radioactive plants using my nuclear reactor, who's to tell me I can't

Really enjoyed the road-building mechanic, It adds a nice layer of strategy that makes planning ahead feel rewarding. The gameplay is  fun, the game itself fits the theme and I would love to see more of it in the future  :)

I didn't read the description and played the web version and it was very fun until it sadly crashed

Despite that the idea is very creative, I already downloaded it to replay later

ty!! yeah, sadly I didn't realize the web version crashes until after the deadline, so I couldn't fix it, thanks for playing though!!!!!

Really love the idea of making your own roads in a tower defense game. Adds a lot more strategy to the game with a simple mechanic lol.

ty! it was tricky to figure out, so I'm really glad it worked out and you enjoyed it!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it, i planned on adding more variety, but it was my first time working with Godot and time was running short haha

Oh this is fun!! Carrots seem like they're doing better, but I refuse to use anything but corn.
