How does your game represent "Power"?
In Last Spark you have a limited power supply with the goal of making progress within that limited power supply until you can expand it. You also have to connect to screens in order to power doors and other contraptions.

Cute style, very well thought out mechanics and competent level design. Really cool!

Very charming little metroidvania! I love the idea of using time as a barrier to certain areas. I think the game could be even better if you sped up the character's movement in the regular world and in the minigames, even if that meant shortening the battery timer a little bit. This would help with some of the backtracking. Overall really nice job!

This is very well put together. The music is really nice and the chill vibe it has is good for this kind of puzzle solver. I cannot figure out what I'm supposed to do in what I think is the last puzzle with the three x's, but I have everything else except that last transporter because I haven't been able to get there in time to still have 210 seconds (at least, I think that's what's happening). The overall aesthetic and gameplay kept me going. I do wish there was some checkpoint in the middle, or at least something to differentiate where the transporters are, because I kept getting confused since two of them looked like the same location to me. Very nice work here!

I love the game within a game part for opening gates, and even without that this feels really good for a platforming. I also like how even when you run out of energy it is not too punishing and the gates you already opened remain open. A lot of thought went into this, very fun!

simple, polished, beautiful platformer with a twist. for a first jam it's too cool, my first jam game wasn't half as good. keep up the good work!

The aesthetics and cute spark animation are great. Great work especially for a first jam!

Cool little game, but I got stuck after the first battery and I'm not sure what is supposed to open up next.  Solid visuals, chill music.

Thanks for playing! In case you want to know you can use the first battery you get on the battery statue right before the drop down, just make sure you at least have one of your batteries fully charged. Then you should be able to interact with it again to zip over to the battery statue on the other side.

Cute little Game and a really nice idea.
I thought it was a bit annoying to go all the way back, but I think that is just my personal Taste

I saw several games about game resetting after the power is depleted, but Last Spark had a really good execution of the idea. Visuals are good and feel very cute.

I wasn’t able to progress after receiving the second battery. The only interactable thing I could find was the power bar to reset. The playable character was really cute! I wish there was a run button so I could cruise past sections I had already been to.

A very cute game with good design, progression, and puzzles. Just the right size to get done in a single sitting while still being long enough for the player to spend time learning and figuring out what to do.

Only real note that I have is that it could use some sound effects for walking/jumping and background music.

The game felt very smooth, the level design was fun and platforming was precise. I loved the details around the world, and the jumping/landing motions.

I liked this alot! Felt pretty smooth and there were some very cool interactions, I liked the little touches with the character animations and such too.

Great stuff! Last puzzle had me until I had an Aha! moment

Really good! I couldn’t figure out the puzzle with the X’s, so I did it with brute force, lol. The mechanics made me want to keep going!

I played the whole game and thoroughly enjoyed it. It reminded me a bit of Minit which is another game I really enjoy.

The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice if there were a few checkpoints as it was a bit of hassle sometimes to run all the way back to where you were when you ran out of power.

Other then that it was really good, especially since it was your first game jam. Well done!

Cool game, but I would suggest giving an objective to the player, since I didn't understand what I was doing at all. Otherwise, pretty nice.

Cute little game! Great use of shortcuts and almost metroidvania-like level design.

Nice entry! I loved the transitions from the platformer bits to the puzzle bits. I believe there's a softlock when a box breaks due to getting hit by lightning in the third puzzle. I had a good time tho!

I learned in that same puzzle that you can press R in the puzzle screens to reset the current puzzle. Posting this for you and anyone else checking out the game.
