Control the power of your jumps by holding the space bar up to 5 seconds to reach platforms as they spawn further and further away. Fly with the power of your thighs.

I think conceptually this is a very fun idea. Having to charge your jump just right is cool and not being able to move in mid air really makes it way more challenging lol. With that said I do have a couple of critiques:
1. I think being able to see your characters model would make this more investing. I would love to see your character do a squat when charging the jump.
2. Maybe add some upgrade shops or something? Like shorter charge for your jump, maybe minuscule movement in midair, etc.
Otherwise though this is a fun and simple game, I enjoyed it!

1. I would definitely like to do this. I was thinking to add 2D limbs that are drawn flatly that only have a few key frames of animation. I'd love to see arms windmill through the air too haha.
2. I could consider some sort of roguelite mode which becomes more of a power trip than the current one 🤔

The solid, distilled essence of a rage game. Would have liked to see the sick-looking legs of the character in-game and not just in the cover art!
really fun idea. the game loop is solid as heck. with some more polish on presentation, you have got a solid streamer game going on.
Really like that game! It feels like one of those challenging games streamers play, I got a highscore of 10 and missed miserably, but really fun idea!

Cool game!! I got 5, I'm not very good at this lol. I like the calm surreal vibe going on
Pretty fun, but I fear reaching the high score requires losing a piece of yourself in the process, lol. I think the platform could use stylized textures instead but I'm not sure if the game is going for cartoony or realistic assets. Also not a critique but I think you could easily rework this as a web game using only keyboard controls [mouse requires locking the cursor] if you wanted, that way more people can try to reach the high score.
I can't stress enough how much I love that promotional picture. It's 3D Jump King and I say that as a high praise, it you had visible Jordans I'd say this was the best game in the jam.
The feeling of perfectly calculating a jump, and just barely cresting the next platform is euphoric. I've seen some others making comparisons to Jump King. Makes me think it might be cool to play a game with this character controller in a prebuilt world. Ascending a giant castle or something.

Thank you! That's exactly the feeling I was hoping for. I would definitely like to make something like a 3d Jump King! I have a few ideas to push this game a bit further, but it's also given me another similar idea about parkouring through a castle-type thing that I want to have a go with. Nice idea for a game, would've been cool if there were more obstacles or conditions that would add more to the game, but the amount of times I overshoot the jumps was enough of punishment.
It's a neat game and I hope to see this be expanded upon in the future, good work! :)

Played for like an hour so here's some criticisms to justify that:
Kinda wish there was slight air control. Overshooting by just the tiniest bit is incredibly frustrating
The player should immediately spawn on the first platform, the several second fall is annoying

There is definitely slight air control at the moment, but I might have gotten a little too close to the game during development and set too little. I kept stripping more and more air control away like "nah, this is too easy" as if everyone playing has been developing this game for a week.
Totally agree on the respawning. I thought it was more dramatic this way but now I wish it was faster.
This man only does leg day. Very fun concept! It's hard to know how far I'll jump, but with some feedback this can be smth cool! Like JumpKing but 3D
The concept of the game is very cool made, I liked the system of choosing the strength of the character’s toss, although you think that you can clamp a little bit and let go, but it does not always work, where you need to hold longer than usual, where those less. Graphics did not catch on (which is not important), but the idea is great, very well fits to the theme!
Raging while rains sounds to relax and sleep played felt like I was getting gaslit. I think having multiple platforms spawn in at a time and a faster power loadup could take this idea far!
