This was a good short game! The ability descriptors are concise and make sense, the gameplay was fun and the story was pretty funky! I wish we actually got to see an actual conflict being solved by arm wrestling, as opposed to an inner one, but I like it nonetheless.

Unfortunately I think I've found a bug where the game wouldn't progress past the intro screen at the beginning :(. I really liked the music that was playing and the screenshots look very interesting so I'd like to return to it after the jam is over if you manage to fix it!
:O Oh no... That's a bummer. I am not completely surprised as we fixed up the intro screen at the last minute but its the first time I hear about this bug. It's not written anywhere but you are supposed to hit the spacebar to progress the dialogue but if that's not it, ill look into it. Thank you for the bug report and at least thank you for your kind words on the music!
The game is very beautiful! The art and music are really on point. As for the gameplay, I found it a little confusing at first, but then I realized it was just a skill issue by my side. xD

Incredible presentation, the music, art and dialogue are all so good! Little confused by the gameplay, not sure if I'm just bad at quickly inputting combos or if there's something I'm missing. Managed to beat Villain once but couldn't get it a second time. Cyberpunk arm wrestling fighting game is a really cool idea though.
This could have a lot of potential in the future, i think you guys made a nice new mechanic that i havent seen in any other game, it was pretty good, i really hope you guys update it with more enemies! It was so good
This is awesome! Fighting game combos coupled with arm wrestling is a really neat idea, and the art and music complement it really well. That villain is pretty tough, too. Overall, really great job with this!
This looks incredible and is a lot of fun! I just wish that there was some explanation at the start for what my abilities did (maybe there was and I missed it). I think I figured them out in the end but I wasn't sure. I could see this being great as a longer more fleshed out game as well!
Really cool game! Maybe I'm just not very good at stringing the combos so didn't get very far after winning against my wife lol but really solid game soundtrack and visuals.
the credits at the start were very cute, i'll definitely note for myself! Love the dotted comic book shader. Rather interesting plot, definitely to the weird side, reminded me of Godslap, lol. Very very fun gameplay and amazing visuals, great job team!
Visuals are obviously awesome, but I'd like to shout out the sound. Stringing together slams and recharges had a really satisfying "ding ding dong dink" (you know what I mean) that made it feel much more impactful. Writing was on point and the game instantly establishes a world and vibe that's recognizable but with a personable identity. Hope to see arm wrestling be the conflict resolution for all problems some day. Nice entry, and though my fingers are a bit tired, I had a blast.
Great twist on the fighting game genre. I was just button mashing the combos at the start until I learned how to string them together. It was very satisfying to learn.
I feel like I would rather be button mashing with my right hand and executing combos with my left. Since the PC is using their right arm to wrestle and the button mashing was way more strenuous. I also think giving the Cartridge Change some more obvious visual/audio feedback would be nice. In the heat of a match it can be hard to tell if it went off.
The theming and humor were excellent. Fun game. Good job, everyone!

There are some serious bones to this game, I could definitely see myself playing a longer version. The power theme was struck fantastically with the arm wrestling and the mashing controls. I was a little confused at first thinking I had to mash just A or Left to push left, but I got it eventually (alternate A and S). I love the abilities which let you decide when you want to hit the gas or take an obsidian break. It adds some real depth. Programming your abilities in with your right hand like your modifying your cyber arm on the fly with Konami codes? Amazing. Well done, team.
Also my wife lets me beat her in arm wrestling.
