The mechanics are too simple and flat. The sanity is like health but with extremely fast regeneration. However, the visuals are amazing, maybe the best I have seen in this jam. Good job!

The visual are nice, the boss design looks really cool, and the music are nice too.

The contro and the gameplay are also interesting, I like the form change mechanics, I basically just used the brother to attack and the sister to regain sanity. Tho the bosses are a bit too easy, also not sure if is my problem but the sound are very quiet for some reason.

But still, nice game!

Stunning visuals, very well polished!!

Cool artstyle, but maybe the game could have went a little harder on the player. But I love the enemy designs the font and the overall vibe is quite nice.

Very cool enemy design and pallet choice, great game! Thanks for making this!

Awesome vibe and art! The BG music was really really quiet for me but I'm sure it adds the the atmosphere! Nice game with nice polish!!

Cool art! Environment made me feel like I'm in Berserk and all that behelit vibes! Would be nice if the bosses stepped in a bit more, slap the hero or something, or like a full wide attack to show their dominance and make me suffer indeed hehe.. Also I really like the text effect and the pacing of it, how did you do that!?

This game has its own taste! I like visuals, especially palette choice. Keep it up, man.

Beautiful game, the art and animations are so good! Which tools did you use to create the pixel art + animations?

Your game is so beautiful, so cohesive, and just really enjoyable to play! Nothing too complicated but it flows really well. I enjoyed it a lot!

Honestly a 5 star in everything except controls (a 4 because sometimes I got stuck on nothing) and sfx/music (wasn't supper memorable, or immersive, but still good, so a 3).

I never felt like I was in danger of dying, even on the final boss, but that's fine, it was still cool nevertheless, like, really cool.

Very memorable bosses as well, so great work!!!

Finally, some good frickin' goth game.

Loved the look and feel of this, really slick and solid. Animations are great, excellent use of a limited colour palette. As others have said I would have liked it to feel a little faster and more challenging. The first and last boss designs are extremely cool, the second had lovely elements but felt a bit similar to the first. All in all one of my favourites I've played so far - well done!

I must say, your game is quite nifty! The atmosphere really drew me in, and while the art was minimalistic, it added so much to the experience. The music complemented everything nicely. The bosses were impressively choreographed, though I understand the difficulty level had to be on the easier side for a game jam entry. Your unique take on the theme, especially the balance between sanity and the two forms, was refreshing. The animated dialogue was a standout feature—I really enjoyed it. Kudos to you for creating such a polished game in just one month. Bravo!

Great art and concept, my favorite part is the level design. The music is very low and the mechanics are very simple, if the sister had more engaging gameplay it would be cool.

Loved the art, and the concept. Great job! One of my favorites for sure

I was very impressed by the polish and visuals. Great job!

Gameplay wise this is rather basic. Wish you'd have taken advantage of the two forms more (specific obstacles to traverse or enemies to defeat for example).

Solid entry

Nice game the bosses look great especially the last one, nice of use of a simple pallete, the text is nice aswell, I just think it was a bit hard to move in the second boss, I would get stuck a bit on walls sometimes, interesting sanity mechanic, good job!
