Holy crap, this is just so damn good. The "bullets do more damage" mechanic when falling adds so much despite being so simple, the graphics and atmosphere are lovely, the bosses themselves are so well-designed... a highscore among all of the entries I played (I know that expression sounds off, I couldn't think of any better arcade-related puns).
Lovely game, I can see it was very inspired by Cuphead, but instead of being based on old animation styles, this is based on arcade. Normally I don't say it, but I love what you did with the page.
The game is extremely fun, the bosses aren't extremely hard, they are challenging because just three lives and clearly need some quick reflexes but they don't have much health which to me makes this game not frustrating when it could easily be very frustrating. The artstyle is very retro which I love, and so are the SFX and music, outstanding job.
This entry is absolutely brilliant! Definitely one of my favorites of the jam. I think it might be my flat out favorite when it comes to boss design, the homie Larry in particular was a fantastic fight. Just so much retro heart and soul in this one, it's a love letter in the absolute truest ways and is highly polished in what it aims to do.
I really like the retro arcade look you have in your game graphics and even in your page, the cabinet there make it feel totally cool, well arranged!!! The gameplay is totally cool, the graphics fit so well and is really fun, the arcade games are the best, I rate your game at most really, so well made!!! also, if you have some time, please, rate my game too, thanks!!!
The paddle twins also referencing snake made me smile, not played snake for like 2 decades.

This is a hidden gem. I like that the bosses are from the old arcade games. The coin tossing mechanic was fun. And your game page is 5 stars.
This game feels like an arcade game. It was pretty fun, simple but fun. Very creative and I like that dizzy and reset thing, it makes it dynamic. The bosses look pretty good. I didn't expect the ping pong boss but well I liked it as well. Pretty good game overall!

Very nice to have a game this dodge-friendly. All fights were fun, but a few more different behaviors instead of just more hazards on the later phases could probably make it even more.

Really enjoyed the retro vibe of the game, I genuinely would like to know how you made your itch page to look like this! The gameplay was crisp and bosses were cool! One critique I have would be the jump kind of feels a little difficult to use, however I got used to it quickly!
Originally I had a single background image with the arcade machine and used trial and error to align it, but I couldn't guarantee it looked right on every aspect. So I just split the top of the machine into the header image, and the bottom into an image embedded in the description.

Nice art and animation. Gameplay is fun, and ranking system add more layer to the challenge. Not a fan of sharp retro music, but it help add the retro vibe i guess. Really well done!

Very nice looking game. The overall feel was more than just generically "retro" it made me feel like I was actually playing on an arcade machine. The uniqueness to the bosses was quite cool and the theme interpretation was very interesting. I was a bit confused with the twins, I felt like I was doing barely any damage; still fun though. The gunslinger fight was definitely my favorite. The music and SFX were rather nice too.
