How does your game fit the theme?
You're in a submarine and you're diving deeper as you progress through the story.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything except for some textures and samples was made by me from scratch within the 7 day jam period.

I love the menu system with the animations, the narrative of the game is very good too. The controls may be a bit difficult, but manageable. Good job!
Thank you! Yeah I'm dogshit at making a nice UI. This felt like an easy way to make it look better without costing any effort lol
Very impressive, as others have stated the multiple views you can see from the sub is fantastic, the sound design is also very impressive. I would keep adding to this after the jam.
Thank you! I doubt I'll expand it after the jam, but I appreciate you suggesting it :D
I like it! What I like the most is all the awesome views from the sub.. And the creepy atmosphere. Congrats.
Thank you! Glad you liked it :D

I'm already really scared of the ocean, So I knew this game was going to be scary, but this was terrifying. from the monsters to the atmosphere, everything. escpecially the final mission. I somehow managed to turn around and end up right back at the portal... Twice. So I'm really gratefull for the "play last mission" button in the menu. I did beat it, eventually. The controlls where also really good.
terrifying game. Keep it up♥
Ok, I'm very impressed that you managed to beat this game, scared or not. Even now it's a coinflip for me whether I accidentally turn around in the cave, and I created the damn thing, lol. I failed so many times during playtesting :D so getting through it truly is an accomplishment and I'd hand you an achievement if I could.
Thank you for playing and even beating my game!
Incredible ambience, visuals, and sound design. The movement felt really good and the creatures were super well made! Great job on this
Hah you must be the first one that says that the movement feels good :D thank you!
I love this so much, it feels like a cross between subnautica, iron lung and KSP. You really nailed the ambience too, and I liked that sound was part of the gameplay.
I'm glad that you love it, thanks for playing!
It was difficult to understand at start for me. Well made assets and ambience. Good job!
Can you try and rate my game ?
It's a very atmospheric game. Music is 100% matched. Respect!
Thank you!
The Audio is amazing! My anxiety by being chased constantly is through the room! I enjoyed.
That's good to hear :D thank you!
a very beautiful transition into the depths of the water. a little complicated management, but interesting
Thank you!
Really good job with the atmosphere cuz I was honestly terrified. Took a bit of getting used to, partially cuz I didn't read all the controls at first, but still quite fun!
Yeah the controls seem to be a weak point... but I'm glad it terrified you :D thanks for playing!
Great entry! Game feels and looks complete, I love the ambient and you are awesome with cameras. Maybe it is just to much cameras at screen when playing. Controls are little harsh, but everything else is great. Awesome job!
Thank you, glad you liked it!
The game's pretty fun! I really think this game would be better with a maze system of some kind, it's got that kinda feel to it when you're being chased by the monsters, but that might not mesh well with the ship damage components. Either way, I enjoyed it, keep it up!
Thanks for playing (and for testing the Linux build, glad it worked!)
Early on, before I decided to go for a city, a maze did cross my mind but having it in all three dimensions would be terribly confusing lol. As a compromise, I settled for a dark cave with a timed mission instead :D
This game is frightning and i enjoyed it, i like the old school graphics, but here's few things:
Controlls are unnecessarly complicated,
there is too much going on at the screen at once
, i like that you have to look around for the objective but some indicator that appears when you are close to it would be helpfull because the level design is complicated and there is not many "LandMarks" to distinguish where i've been and not been before
The game is amazing in every other aspect the sound desing gives me chills, and like i've said before the visuals are great too, this game took the theme literally and is one of the only games with submarines i enjoyed!
Thank you! Glad you liked it even with the challenges.
Honestly I was struggling with mapping 6DoF to keyboard controls and this setup felt right for me, but I have no idea how to improve it or how other people prefer it, so suggestions are very welcome :D
Agreed on the challenge of finding the objectives, I should've made this game mechanic more forgiving. I've added a map as a spoiler in the description to give hints on where they are, and you can use the sonar audio pitch to determine if they're above or below you once you're near, but that's all I can do for now to help you without changing the game itself...
Thanks!
That game id terrifying. I did all as intended: dark room, at night, headphones on, fullscreen. And I loved it.
But I wasn't really able to finish the game. The level design is weird and, in addition to complicated controls, feels unsatisfying. Hasn't been able to find the supportive antennas nor the portal in the final mission.
But apart from these small inconveniences, the game is a banger. Audio is on the highest level, graphics are appealing (you can't even see that those are low-definition textures), the atmosphere is unbelievably engaging. Overall, 29/30. Loved it.
Edit: also would like to see linux and mac builds for the game. I had to play in web, which didn't have the best performance I was hoping for.
Thanks for the valuable feedback! I've added a linux build but it's untested, so if you're willing to give it another try, it'll hopefully perform better. But I have no idea if it works and if the performance is better.
I've also added a topdown map screenshot as a collapsed spoiler in the description, just before the About section. Hopefully that helps you find the objectives!
The Linux build works!
Really enjoyed this one, I will admit that most of the time I spent positioning my sub so it was pointing upwards and then echo the dolphin style jumping out into the air lol.
hahaha it was one of the first features I wonkily implemented because I needed a way for the player to stay underwater. Glad you enjoyed it! :D
Really like the atmosphere of deep diving! And it's a good idea with side cameras :)
Thank you, glad you liked it! Yeah the side cameras seemed like a good idea but the performance impact is massive lol, not gonna rely on that again in future games :D
Really awesome :)
We had a very similar idea but your game has way more gameplay. I really like the interface - I ain't managed to come up with good console elements for my submarine.
Your entry is so pretty though! Wish I could've added foliage and those water effects to mine, would look a lot better lol.
Thanks for playing!
This game give me a spook so many times.
Excellent :D
Thanks for playing!
