Yo wth you made the game we planned to make but didn’t have time to, so we dropped the minigames
It was supposed to be a coop game but we dropped that XD There were a few other games with similar concepts in this jam actually :) Blue October and Drunken Sailor are the ones that come to my mind atm.
Very impressive, and very difficult.
The only thing it's missing is a brief explanation of the mechanics.
That was actually on purpose. We wanted our players to figure out stuff independently and have a natural progression. That's why we gave players tips on what killed them at the end. If we explained how everything worked the game would become boring and predictable to fast.
Probably the most stressful game I've ever played (not that I mean that in a bad way). Really had fun playing this on stream!
Again thank you for playing. We had a blast watching your playthrough and figuring out everything on your own. Thank you again for playing and remembering about us we really appreciate that ;)
Very fun experience! Great work on this one!
fun game
5/5 Excellent game. I do hope you get more votes, this game has great potentiall, specially if you were able to add coop!
Coop was actually what we wanted to do but due to time constraints we had to give up on it for the jam. Thank you for your kind words ;)
Fun and unique idea, found the minigames quite difficult to understand if I was doing them right tho.
The game itself is very nice, a slightly more articulated main menu would have been nice but that's okay, great job!
Nice game and good concept)
Really nice idea, chaotic and fun gameplay with beautiful art and music.
Would've loved some kind of upgrade system to help with the late game and maybe some kind of extra collectible you could get using the harpoon that could be used for those upgrades.
Nice game!
You just described the cut content from the game :P We didn't have time to implement it but that was on the table from the first hours this game was conceptualized in our heads :) Happy to hear you liked it.
Really nice ! It was challenging, but really well balanced. Didn't pass 3000m though XD
2km + is still a massive feat!
Really cool, fast and balanced resource/prioirity mamagement game. Arcade elements make it so much more focusing. Everything just works well.
Really cool single player lovers in a dangerous spacetime, I like it! Graphics theme, gameplay, all were great!
Nice idea and well implemented. It is not really easy to play moving from one activity to another. it is quite challenging.
Good job.
WOW! this is an incredible game, this feels like an actual game, not a Jam game, I notice the influence from Lovers, love the art, the gameplay is really fun, doing a lot of things at the same time, I manage to get 932m haha, keep up the good work.
That is an impressive score! I don't think anyone else on our team managed to get to that point than me. I'm so happy you enjoyed it and thank you for your kind words!
BTW if you curious the deepest score I know of is
Hey! I like a good challenge:
Now that I played more I found some stuff, after 5000m there are no more enemies so I just lose on purporse because nothing really happens after that, also the oxigen minigame, the ball starts from the last point you leave it, I think it should start from the bottom so it takes a litte more time to put it in the zone :)
It's because there is almost no life past the 5k mark, the pressure is too immense. To be completely honest it's a bug we just found out about today as well. And it can happen at any depth, happened to me at 4k mark, to Dans17 at 3k, and to our friend who play-tested it at 800m. We are looking into it. When it comes to the oxygen minigame, there is a lot more wonkiness with it. It's the only minigame that has not been completely/ properly implemented, was the last one to be added to the game. If you look closely at the art there is a slot on the tank where the bar feeling should be displayed but it stays empty. Also, the minigame works too close to how the fuel minigame works, it's basically a reversed version of it. On paper, you were supposed to fill in the tank on the right to its fullest and only then you will receive oxygen back to your tank. Sort of like how it happens with the pressure, only lowering when you complete the mini-game.
Now, holly shit man! What a mad lad! You spent over 44 minutes of your life on our small indie game. We couldn't feel more happy, proud, and honored to have a player like you. Thank you so much, you my friend are getting a spot in our humble hall of legends and mad lads! What a power move :D
Oh I see, Sure I understand a week is a short time and this game have a lot of stuff going on.
Haha no problem I really like that kind of endless game, It would be great if you can checkout my game, thanks!
Very cool. I love the danger in this space.....and time :)
One of the best I played so far, great game design. This game would go bonkers with some marketing and co-op. Would play with my friends. Could not figure out the "Put the arrows in right place" and always died because of the pressure level, but with polish and great execution this game idea can go far! Amazing entry
One of my favorites in the Jam, the game design it's so cool, the minigames remind me the Wario ware franchise and the art it's simple and beautiful, excellent job.
One of the best entries so far :) Amazing job, love the pixel art, nice music, the minigames. I like that there is no manual, but you learn things through mistakes.
Thank you for your kind words :) I love how similar our ideas for the jam were at some point.
I do like these games, so many choices. Impressive pixel art. The damage with the water flow, the enemy animations – you have a super polished game here. Job well done.
