How does your game fit the theme?
This game is supposed to be a linear game that is calm, and the more you progress through the lessons, the more stuff gets stacked on and it gets hectic and hard.
I had to stop and cap it at two lessons due to the time crunch, but I plan on continuing the game and adding more content!
There will be more bosses, bonus games, and items to collect!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code and art is self made from scratch, the only things not by me are the sound effects, but I have the proper licensing for them.

I clicked lesson 1, but even after checking the itch.io page I didn't understand how to play this, so I might skip rating the game for now in case I might have missed something, or in case I got a one-off bug.
I might consider to play it again but I really didn't understand what you're supposed to do in this, any tips?
Hey! Yeah I didn't have time to create a tutorial. Once you click lesson 1 and then play, you are trying to make the starting word into the final word. you do this by clicking the orange squares at the bottom of the screen, which are letters, and then you click on the "current word" letters to replace a letter. You can only make valid words, and once you do, you can hit submit. You can only do 1 letter at a time, but you have items, which are on the left part of the screen, and these are very helpful in reaching the goal
This is a really fun game! As first I was a little frustrated because I wasn't sure how to play, I think it would be nice if there were instructions on the itch.io game page. When I figured it out and started getting into it, I couldn't stop! I love the Wordle mechanics and the main game loop is really fun when it sinks in. I experienced a bug with the Worlde section where it glitched out, I think I might have double clicked or clicked too fast and the letters started skipping and stopped coloring so I couldn't finish it. I wishlisted it on Steam because I will almost certainly buy it if it's for a good price, great work to the team!
This is a really cool project! I like the core idea a whole lot, and I think it has potential to be a fun and relaxing game, either on PC or on mobile like some other reviewers suggested.
I got a bit lost at the beginning, so a tutorial could be pretty useful. Additionally, there definitely were a lot of powerups that I did not utilize the best, but it didn't take away from the enjoyment.
Great work, and good luck with future development!
good word game, good for brain training :D nice job
Here is mine if someone wants to try:
I feel like there is a great mobile game in here, I only mention that because you say you are planning to expand. In my opinion the game had too many powerups and I could not keep track of or remember what they where. I would start with only one power up and introduce them slowly that way the player gets a feel for each one. Really creative word game, never played anything like it!
What a creative an unique take on the theme. Really enjoyed that! It did take me a little while to figure out how to play so a small tutorial would be helpful if you expand on it, but this is great. It was very satisfying to figure out a really short path to the answer and the extra credit sections were a great way to break it up. Great job!
Fun game but challening, especially for non-native english speakers (like me). Had to stop a moment and think about the substitutions lol. great game!
This is fun! I really had to rack my brain for a while.
I really like the wordle minigame every once in a while, it's kind of a breather (even with a timer).
Anyways, it's nice. Great job!
