How does your game fit the theme?
The game has 2 States:
One is Calm State where you do simple life things such as breakfast with family,
Then when you finish your first quest of gathering logs from the woods and returning home,

Things change drastically and the game enters the Storm State,
Which is about an evil kingdom releasing creatures and evil poisonous storm to the lands which disrupts everything.
Everything changes in this state, even player's hair color :D .

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Made by me:
All the code. (except cinemachine) (Quest system, leveling up, Stat enhancing and powering up, Day to Night shift unlocking abilities and more,)
Level design and cinematics are designed.
All Player Japanese Sound Effects are recorded.
Player sprite is from AI originally, but edited a lot with Krita and cut in to pieces for rigging.
All Player sprite parts and rigging, IK, geometry, weight brushing etc. and animations made.
Editing of sounds and musics done.
Lighting and Post processing (bloom, vignette) unfortunatelly webgl's build setting was not ultra hd so gamejam version of the game doesn't have these.

Used tools: Unity, Visual Studio, Blender, AudaCity, Krita ...

Not made by me:
Used Assets that have proper licence typeto use, credits for them are in the game description, and also exist as a code in the game files.

Nice concept. Controls felt smooth nice little story ark. Although it would be nice if I could shoot by holding mouse button and didn't have to spam it and I don't know if I missed something but after completing the kill them all (50 enemies) quest it just stayed there and I'm not sure if anything actually happened.

Oh my bad, after you complete that quest you press "2" in keyboard and you can use the new ability, which has a larger size and pierce through enemies, I couldn't prepare a tutorial for that part of the game in time and forgot to update the UI, so it is not visible in toolbar in bottom of the screen, I actually didn't think someone would play that much, thanks for playing that much you are a legend.

As for shoot controlls it was initially hold to attack at first but I planned to add melee attack and increase the atack interval of power balls and made it press to shoot, so it would be like once in 5 secs but a powerful powerball attack, but I couldn't make melee attacks in time, and didn't fix the shooting control later, my bad again, sorry.

I actually somehow did manage to use the larger powerball but the quest didn't update which confused me. Also am I mistaken or is there a limit to how many of the more powerful ones I can shoot? It felt like I could spam shoot like ~5 of them and then I had to wait for them to reload which is not a bad mechanic but I couldn't see any indicator of that being the case.

Ooh, for performance I used object pool instead of initiating new object each time. It is somewhat acting like interval mechanic, if you shoot too much, you use up all the powerball objects in the pool, and each shoot has 3 seconds lifetime to reset, so if you shoot too fast you eventually trigger something like an ability cooldown which was not intended but I also think it is cool lol :D

And yes, I couldn't make the quest update mechanic in time. it stays like that, I had kamehameha ready too but time limit  got me, this is my first game jam, I spend toomuch time with details instead of main gameplay, trully all my bad:/

fun concept! like the story line! would recommend to increase the enemy range since I can just shoot them from a distance and they will not target me.

Haha yes, first enemies (red and green goblin) has low range and can be killed without getting shot, Redred, Black, and Bluemax goblins have a lot larger range, they can be found in further away from the village

 I thought it would be okay to let it stay that way for the first enemies, but I realized it is not good that way later. Maybe I could add enemies something like, "when get attacked attack back with ignoring the detection range"

This game has a unique concept, I've never thought to play as goku and chop trees, and the dramatic moment it's kinda terrorific, anyways it's a nice game, the only thing is the controls and art style, but that can be changed over time.

nice little game, i could get off the map however and 1 thing that is maybe also my bad… i have an azerty keyboard so i found myself with my arms crossed which is not the most comfortable way to play a game :D

Thanks for the feedback, yes you can get out off the grid, among some other things I forgot to adjust the colliders after finishing editing the level lol :D

Sorry about the controls, it is not your bad, I couldn't think about implementing alternative inputs.

Nice dragon-ball inspired elements haha - also really cool you made a quest log system. Enjoyed the ambience music too - good job!

I am glad you liked it thanks for feedback. Actually it was better with lights and preprocessing but, My Webgl build was not ultra quality so they are not displayed. I found out after jam submitting ends :D

I like the idea and you really feel like you are in the world of Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball :) I found the tutorial a bit slow though.
