How does your game fit the theme?
You try to keep peace and prevent the family members from exploding with rage.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Code and animations yes, but all audio and most graphics are from online sources, modified for the game.

Probably the most whacky game in the jam. In a good way, I mean.
Absolutely loved the vibe.
Thank you! Yeah the game came out very wacky. We are quite pleased how it turned out. :D
I see where that face on your profile came from. Seems more like after a week of game deving your head just combust! Cool game, I love the art style.I feel like the game was a bit unclear at first, but once I got the hang of things I felt like the game was too short. Overall, you have done a good job!
Thank you! Yeah, the profile pic matches the feeling after every jam :D
I'll be gone for the rest of the week, be back on Sunday or Monday.
Managed to keep everyone alive first try! Everyone was burning though lol. Fun game!
Thank you for playing! It's not easy to get all survive first try! :D
I had to get all 6 to the detriment of my health. Great game! Surprisingly fun. Really neat graphic choice. Nice music choice as well. Very solid concept and execution.
Thank you! Glad you pushed through!
Wow I managed to keep everyone from exploding but heads were on fire. I honestly didn't know what to expect at the start when it was so chill but damn that got stressful. I really enjoyed this one, genuinely one of my favorite entries I've seen so far!
Thank you so much!
This was really entertaining! There was also a lot of stuff to be looking out for which made the whole thing very engaging. Great work!
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
This was a hectic but fun game! Love the charming GBA styled graphics. Glad I stopped reading the walkthrough after the first bullet point, so I could find out the solutions myself. I totally ignored the gramophone at first, but on my second try I managed to keep them all alive!
Good job! :-)
Thank you! I'm happy to hear you figured it out on your own since some players have struggled with it!
It was like a time machine to 15 years ago. Nostalgic graphics and game design! I liked your vision. The only problem was sometimes it was nearly impossible to detect what was wrong. Nearly half of the family burned down, but I managed to save a couple of them :)
Thank you for the feedback! Glad you got nostalgic vibes!
Love the art style. I really liked this interpretation of the theme, it really felt like everything was going to explode at a moment's notice.
Thank you!
I didn't read the instructions.... but i managed to save 1 family member by the end of the game - it was good fun! The music was perfect for this game.
Thank you!
This was really cool! Unfortunately on my first playthrough I hadn't read the instructions fully yet, so only one family member made it through dinner. Fun, unique gameplay hook and a great spin on the theme. Well done!
Thank you so much!
Family Fued
1. I LOVE the graphics, GBA style feux-3d is one of my favorite styles, I must know how you did these sprites! They look fantastic. Beyond just the looks the characters a very evocative and have good designs
2. Gameplay was both fun, frantic and very funny! All the gags were great
3. The father is supposed to be talking a lot as his 'annoying feature' but it just looks like a big white stretching box, there should be something written in there or a fake alphabet in there to convey speach
Thank you so much! Yeah, wish we had time to add fake text to the dialogue box. The other family members were supposed to talk too, with their speech bubbles getting squished by the father's speech bubble. On point 1: JapeNess will hopefully tell you more about that!
Thank you very much! I was very thrilled when making these graphics they worked really well! Used a lot of ready made asset that i modified to work in the game in blender with 3d. Animations I made myself, but for the pixel art i used the compositing to make it look like pixel art. Used this tutorial for it. Crazy good tutorial for pixel art with 3d.
Was honestly pretty engrossing. Half of the fun is trying to figure out what can go wrong with all of these people, and trying to optimize dinner makes the game fell really re-playable. Your team made a fun game! My only thoughts for possible change would be to maybe have the kid's "ammunition" be easier to collect? Having to click on it multiple times feels kind of slow compared to everything else.
Thank you for the feedback!
I loved the art style. Great job!
Love the graphics reminds me of that old "Neighbours from Hell" <3
I loved the art and the concept for the game is very funny!! It turned out absolutely charming!!
Thanks a bunch, monch!
Hey Monch, I have a feeling you'd like this game: Seek and Click
It's a short game about finding cats.
ohhh thank you, I just finished it and I enjoyed it quite a lot!
Glad to hear it!
Fun little addition, and made with Construct as well, well done! Simple and to the point, I never did get to experience the storm though!
10/10 would survive a potentially disastrous dinner again
Thank you! The storm was the family members exploding with rage, but it's avoidable!
Oh my goodness, I absolutely loved this!
Hilarious, unique, and works so well with the theme. Really great job in all areas :)
Thank you!
HHahhaha the game gets so hectic after only 15 seconds it’s amazing! So unique, and the art style works well. I had a blast replaying the game and improving every single time. The fact that they care so much about eating that they don’t even care about the fire is so funny to me! :) Great game!
Thank you so much for the praise!
