How does your game fit the theme?
In the game you have to find what made the players friends happy before a storm made them filled with only madness. you have to find the calm (this being stuff that used to make the characters happy) before the storm (the storm that corrupted them) and present it to the characters in order for them to become normal again

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
all code written by my, all assets fall under CC0 (Public Domain), all Music is made with Suno AI

Nice idea with the 2D and 3D swap, as well as with the platformer "battles"!

And yes, you should continue! :-)

The swap from 2D to 3D at the beginning of the game was interesting and the intro was pretty abrupt. Almost felt like a mood whiplash lol

This was one of the most ambitious games I've played this jam! I love that the dimension traveling just refers to 2D and 3D. The way I needed to battle the characters reminded me of Psychonauts and Undertale. It was cool how the last boss tried to mess around with you on the platforming. It was a little annoying having to click "search" button when the game was otherwise playable with a keyboard.

Insane start to the game!

I think the dialogue should be where you press a button near them to interact, then when they talk you can also skip to the end of each line to type it out. What it does now is you have to stand next to them and wait for it to type out without moving away from them. It could be challenging to do that in limited time though.

The perspective change so early in the game is also something really interesting. The uniqueness of the RPG part blending with platforming with search is very interesting actually and may remind me of some ideas of my own I have had a bit. So really nice job on those unique aspects of your game! I liked the overall engaging feel and atmosphere of the game, it's very well done!

I got to the end and I enjoyed it, I think you should continue this game if you want, really nice job!

Cool idea. Liked the music and the swap from 2D to 3D.  Great work! Congrats and good luck!

i can not play your game on my Mac, but gave it a rating based on your own info and other people’s comments, wish i could hear the ai music :)

I like the perspective change. And there are a lot of funny ideas in the game. I loved the words of anger falling down and huring me!

As true gamer, the intro was very relatable. Also liked the 2D/3D views, gave me Petscop vibes with the 3D visuals, idk why lol. Only things I'd like to be there would be more SFX , when walking for ex, and careful with every model to make sure that they all have collision.

Nice idea, is a little chaotic the history. Good job making this in 1 week.

Good luck

It has a unique style that is a mix of 2d and 3d! The controls confused me a bit at first, but I really enjoyed the gameplay. I wish it was longer, but since it's a 1-week game jam, it's not even a problem to mention. It deserves so much more rates tho!

A very innovative game! The mix of several game modes did not allow to polish each of them at best unfortunately.

Very interesting entry in any case, bravo!

Interesting idea, there is a storyline, transition between game dimensions and linking to the theme. There is a lack of menus, in Bert's house you should add walking diagonally and do something about the camera shaking when you walk into a wall, also add a button to skip text animation, or speed up its appearance. All in all, the main thing is that there are no critical bugs and errors, and the game is playable and enjoyable, so great job!

The blend of 2D and 3D elements, alongside unique gameplay styles, kept things fresh and exciting. A few small issues with controls and unclear instructions, but overall, a fun and creative experience!

Also can you rate our game? THX!

i really love this!, the 3d and 2d elements was really a change in pace!!  bert it such a cutie and so well designed!

i did die a good couple of time tbh but regardless( but thats to do with my gaming skills not your development skills) i loved every second of it good job!

Had an absolute blast playing this game and would love to play more of this world after it's been fleshed out more! The mix of 2d and 3d was pretty great, though I was able to get out of bounds by going through a house in the area with a lot of houses. I really enjoyed the platformer aspect and the especially the level in Lisa's brain with the raining words, was very unique way of handling an obstacle! My only true critique is how short it was and hope that this is remedied with a future release! Amazing game overall and would love to play more.

thank you very much, I appreciate it immensely! .And wow , was not aware of some of the buildings lacking collision , I will definitely have to sort that out

This was a lot of fun to play. I only wish it was longer. The music was awesome and the mix of 2d and 3d was a nice touch  .

I loved this!
different gameplay styles you used were nicely thought out and made me keep going to see where the game goes!
some instructions were unclear for example at the beginning, there was no way for me to find out if the game uses mouse click or arrow keys or wasd  unless i tried clicking all of them.
and the speed of the characters talking was a bit slow considering the speed of the words coming from that villain of the game was normal.

also, the main character couldnt move diagonally which was a little bit unpleasant...

aside from all of that, the game was great and i loved that reference to undertale with how the games title appeared haha!

Developer(+1)

thank you (: glad you caught the undertale reference with the title screen lmao.
