i liked how the text comming down has different animations

Developer

you mean different fonts

Submitted

Haha, the way your game fits the theme is really interesting.

Nice vertical scroller. Here are my thoughts:

1) Fixed borders - I can leave the top and become invulnerable.

2) Zoom out - because players have little time to react.

3) Overall, your game isn’t about calm before the storm; it’s about the storm itself ;) But it’s fine.

1) I wish they let me fix the borders

2) same thing

3) didn't you see the large word that says "calm" in the beginning of the game?

Player can go out of the map but overoll it is good game.

Cool concept but I could get out of the screen and just survive the entire time without doing anything. If you'd have had more time I think this would be way more polished.

Developer(+1)

i made the game in the last 3 days of the jam

But there is walls i dont know how everyone clip out

I tried to do it but i couldn't get out

Submitted

I went into the bottom right corner of the screen and just went right and instantly got out. Hope that helps

Developer

i think that's because i used raycasts

Very clever indeed :P When I worked out how literal it was it gave me a good chuckle :D

Perfectly fits the theme with a straightforward design. Enjoyable and charming, though the controls need some refinement and it's easy to accidentally exit the play area.

Developer(+1)

I LITERALLY hadn't enough time to make joystick

Because I made the game in the last 3 days of the jam

Submitted

Couldn't be more on-theme than this; well done on submitting!

Submitted

Literally.

check out my square game I made in last 3days of the jam

Developer

I made mine in less time

straight to the point

This is the best interpretation of a game jam theme I`ve ever seen.

Too literal and too simple, but very nice and fun, bonus points for android version, had fun on my phone.

This Game is fun to play and easy to understand. The Sound effects also give great feedback and are nicely done. But it was really easy to go out of bounds accidentally and not dying because of it.

But overall, nicely done

Developer(+1)

How can everyone penetrate the invisible walls?!!!

Submitted

wrap it up folks, the jam's over.

this game takes the first, second and third place as it always have meant to be.

Submitted(+1)
I forgot how to die!
Developer

wtf

Submitted

Exploit :P

You can clip out of bounds and eventually the storm stops coming.

Developer

But there are hidden walls at the borders.

This is one of the best games in the jam, And the funniest 😂

But it’s very difficult 🔥🙂

Submitted(+3)

This game should be first place, it literally the theme what else can you say?

Submitted(+2)

The game is simple and fun, the eyes of the character moving are very cute too!
