How does your game fit the theme?
You play as a witch trying to "extend the calm" before a storm by leaving offerings at her altar. Every time she offers something, her village is gifted prolonged peace.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes! All the code, music, & art is made from scratch!

Nice art. Cool recipe based crafting gameplay.
The art is so beautiful! Very nice game, I didn't see the recipe book for like 2 minutes and I didn't know what I'm supposed to do, but then it was very fun
awesome but short game. the art is a clear standout in quality, props to the art team. my one suggestion is to add some sort of progression or something to switch the gameplay up, for example items are out of stock or some potions will not be able to be made for some reason, otherwise I feel myself doing to same thing over and over
thanks for playing! definitely agree on the progression suggestion, if we continue working on this that's a big thing we'd want to add
Very cute visuals and cozy feeling all around! In my first playthrough I think there's way too much info, and I thought I get to use all that time just to brew and then exchange money to make offerings to see how much time total i can stall for the storm, that's a problem on my end though! Overall very cute and feels good to have the village thank me!
Amazing visuals, game feels great to play!
Game design wise I would have preferred some sort of progression system. It seems right now you have this hectic cycle of brewing, crafting, offering, buying, which is fun, but it quickly gets repetitive.
This is an amazing game! The artwork is so impressive and polished. Same goes for the UI. The music and sound effects are good. A lot of hard work went into this. The game design seems like it could be good, but there are issues I found:
- Game had a very short time span. I was still starting to explore the mechanics and deciding what to craft when the storm hit and the game abruptly ended. How much time do we have, it isn't stated? The game has a relaxing tone, so the harshness of the time limit really conflicts with that. Maybe the storm has some negative effect, but it shouldn't be an instant game over. As it stands the beginning of the game is very hard, but it gets easier as you learn how to play. This is an inversion of the usual difficulty curve.
- Brews make no sense. It takes me 10 secs to brew 2 x 18 gold potions = 36 gold. Or 10 sec to brew a 32 gold one. So, there's no incentive to brew the longer potions!
Hopefully, this helps improve the game. I definitely think there's something there. I can imagine this becoming a nice mobile game, but you should look into the game design.
Thanks for taking the time to leave such detailed comments!!
- For the time limit, we intended the game to be short so that it’s challenging enough. The time should be displayed in the upper right hand corner! You start with 3 minutes (180 seconds) and as you present offerings, the time limit increases. Typically, the first play-through will get you to understand the dynamics and the second round you will master it :)
- The incentive to brew the longer potions comes in the sense that you don’t need to sit there waiting for it to complete, and you can work on other things such as crafting in the meantime. (Games like Goodgame Empire have this inverse dynamic for coin collection.) However, we hear ya and we will definitely collect more feedback and reconsider this aspect!
We really appreciate your playthrough and thorough feedback - please let us know what you think about these points!
This was really stressful but still really fun! Great job, I love the art and how chill the game is:) at first it was hard to figure out what i was doing, but that was probably my fault...
Thank you!! Yeah, we could probably do with a bit more tutorial at the beginning (we actually had some implemented but lost it before the submission :( ) , it's definitely a game that needs a couple tries to get the hang of!
Art and sound are very amazing! First playthrough I felt stressed because of the ticking clock and I could not remember recipes, but second run through I was able to appreciate the game. Well done!
this is a very pretty and relaxing game <3
Felt very polished and the visuals were amazing. Spent all my money on useless stuff cuz i didnt see the recepie book but thats my fault. W game
Thank you!!
Very nice game with good visuals and relaxing music. I was able to go infinite, doing the same potion and crafting the same thing over and over. It would have been better if something forced the player to change the crafting they needed to do. In terms of UI, there are some improvements possible, in my opinion: sometimes, to leave a dialogue, you have to click on the top right corner, other times on the bottom left. When you click on a potion to brew it, it could instantly go to the recipient (I didn’t understand how it worked at first). When crafting a recipe, you could drag the ingredients with the mouse onto the square. I had fun with the game, thanks for submitting it!
Thanks so much for the suggestions!! After the jam, we’ll upload a version with improved UI and standardized dialogues.
For the potions, we thought the progress bar was intuitive enough to suggest that it takes time to brew a potion, but we could definitely add a tooltip to explain better. Also, dragging and dropping would for sure be a great feature - we wanted to reduce code complexity for the jam but we can definitely add this in given more time.
I’m so glad you had fun, and I’m looking forward to play yours as well!
A very aesthetically pleasing game on many levels however in terms of gameplay it suffers from a lack of a tutorial as it was not immediately clear how to proceed once I got upstairs and once I had figured out what to do it was too late. I would play it again though...
Great artwork and music. The gameplay is a bit repetitive, but the idea is definitely nice ^^,
Amazing artwork, great gameplay and very calming beautiful music. I could spend hours playing this game (and I just might)
Oh boy, I did not expect this to stress me so much when I first saw that art. It's definitely something. Fantastic art, innovative concept, great work!
thank you so much!
Nice to see your new work. The graphics are cozy and the audio sounds amazing. Congratulations!
Thank you!! It’s great to see your work too!!
that's so kind of you! thank you for playing & it's nice to see your work too! ♡
very stressful despite the adorably cozy artstyle!! despite how simple it is, i found myself getting pretty immersed; the gameplay loop is addicting, and the idea of prolonging the calm before the storm honestly hits the theme nail on the head. love this game to bits, its something i'd honestly go out of my way to buy on steam. awesome work!!!
thanks so much for playing ! :)
A lovely little game, but way harder than the art style suggests. A good thing though, I actually had two playthroughs, but could only get to ~250 hours because I couldn't remember the recipes for the big offerings. Total skill issue on my end.
Great work!
thanks for playing :)
super cozy game , amazing artstyle aswell, the idea of trying to delay the storm was pretty cool and fits with the theme quite well.

Very calming game in terms of all aspects, I had to play a second time. First time I had 193 hours. Second time was about 500 hours. The theme is on point. Was really fun playing :D
That’s a record!! 🥹 Thanks for playing :))
