Really nice game! The art, sound effects, and music were awesome. I like the idea of the game but when it plays, it feels a little too slow to me.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
You have you gather more totem pieces companions to build taller totems, defeat stronger enemies, and go further.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I did all the programming, dessign, art and fx sounds tasks, except the parallax background layers, terrain tiles and music.

Very good game & puzzle design, unique concept and cute art style, keep improving upon this game dude, I have so much fun, nice job!
Really cool game! The mechanics were very fun to play around with and yeeting all the spirits while circling around like a madman was crazy! The checkpoints were really creative as well, loved how you implemented the theme. Honestly, there isn't really any problem I could find except the ones already addressed, so good job!
I'm sorry... but I'm afraid I had to give you 5/5 stars in every category....
Your game is absolutely AWESOME! Beautiful art, music, sfx, mechanics.
The part full of pivot points and yellow fire skulls/faces was absolutely HELL... I've had to try it soo many times I've lost count, specially by the speed it applies to the rotation, sometimes I can't handle it and crash into the skulls/faces. But I love challenges, so I decided to retry as many times as necessary to continue with the game.
By far the most beautiful games I've played in the entire jam.
Amazing job! Congratulations!
Please check mine if you can :) Thanks!
OMG, SOMEONE FINISHED MY GAME !!!! :D Thank you so much mate, your comment made my day, I think that nobody had completed it and there are 50 rates until now. When I designed the many anchors level I never thought people would find it so complicated. The ground collider problem hasn't helped much either :P . So I REALLY appreciate your dedication for finish my game, thank you so much again :) . And of course I am gonna play your game right now.
Why people don't like following my huge arrows ? :_( You missed the most interesting part of the game so I recommend you to give it another try or at least watching the walkthrough, but I know that there is a lot of games in the jam... Anyway thank you so much for the video! I remmember you from BTP Jam 2021, you played my keys game :)
wow! I like this idea very much.. and the graphics & music compliments it. Fantastic job picodaddy! Loved it :)
Easily the best game I Played this Jam! Good job my dude, really!
Amazing game! The checkpoint was really cool and so was the stacking mechanic, I really liked the swings too! The art was amazing too, really liked the lighting! Few things:
- I found it a bit strange how the swings didn't work if you built up directly into them.
- It is almost impossible for me to see what the number on the enemies is, maybe make the numbers bigger
- I kept on encountering this bug which made me clip into the ground, making me unable to progress, I didn't know how to stop the bug from happening
Overall great job!
The anchors only work when you enter the collider when you are falling for avoiding bugs, but yeah it is abit strange. The enemy number were too smal, but at least you noticed them, not bad hahhaha. And yeah, the floor collider problem are killing me. If you want keep playing (there is much more interesting levels later and is a short game) you can avoid the bug pressing space before touching the floor in an anchor or simply trying not to hit floor too strong. Sorry about that and thank you so much for your comprehensive feedback.
Great concept!
I encountered a bug where I clipped through the wall after spinning, but I just avoided spinning into a wall fast.
The checkpoint was really clever.
Well done!
I've got to agree, that was the stacking players was a pretty cool mechanic, it binds with the theme really well! Another thing i loved about the game was the graphics, the game looks visually amazing!
Also i have a question how did those totems appear if there's no humans? also rate my game if you don't mind?
Wow man!!! What a game! It fits the theme so well and the audio makes it so engaging :D The gameplay was so smooth too! I could only wish too make such a smooth game lol.
I would really appreciate it if you gave your feedback on my game! :)
This was soo good, I loved every bit of it. You have my highest rating of the jam so far (nearly flawless)! I especially love the core mechanics, makes it so fun and engaging.
This was super fun! Really creative idea, and it was very well executed.
Personally, the player moved wayyyyyyyyy to slow, and it felt like I was trying push an anvil up a hill (although that could be because of lag in the browser. I also wish I could hold W instead of the up arrow, but that wasn't too big of an issue.
The visual tutorial worked super well, and even though this is an asset flip (somewhat) the art worked super well together, and I wouldn't be able to tell if you hadn't specified.
Really great job with this!
Yes, the totem moves slowly because if it hs a lot of movility, building and throwing the totem would become less useful, but maybe i should simply make shorter levels. And yes, the tutorial style is not very pollished because of limited time, and I focused just on usability. Thank you for your feedback, was very useful :)
I'm glad you found it useful! I did not mean to come across as critical of your tutorial, I actually really like it! Most jam games throw a wall of text at you, while you found a way to integrate it with the scenery, which is awesome to me. Personally, I prefer no tutorial, as the player feels a sense of accomplishment when they figure it out. With no tutorial, the game must also be designed in such a way to teach the player things without them realizing, which I really like. The way you did it is the second best approach imo, and I really liked the game :)
