no hesitation the most awesome game i played. I smell it... i smell the passion
Very original concept!
The music goes well with it and I had a good laugh while playing!
Bravo for the idea and the development!
That was a wild experience. Not entirely sure if I did well or not but it was shockingly fun nonetheless.
The music was great. Fits the vibe very well and that kind of fast, electronic music is great in general for a lot of action-based games.
The way things kept switching up kept me engaged till the end when you got bored of me and closed the game.
Once again the lack of understanding on what was going on was the biggest flaw I could see. Or at least it would be if the game was too much longer. Since it was so short I was able to enjoy the confusion. Then it ended before the lack of understanding could make things boring.
Honestly I think my biggest confusing was on button feedback; was I pressing the correct button at the correct timing?
Overall, wildly different game from all the other entries I've seen. Good chaotic fun.
It was so fun to use the beat as the trigger of the actions! At first I was like "should I press the buttons?" and then I was like "the beat is doing it for me!" haha! It was a nice moment, great job!
That was interesting. The game is pretty fun and I really like the visual style. The graphics were done very well and the music sounds great. Using the photographs was really funny and added a lot of personality. The music was great, and the rythm idea was cool I just wish that the rythm part was a bit more pronounced. Also, it's a bit confusing what's going on when the game starts. I didn't know if I was attacking the guy on screen or if he was helping me or something else. I think it would've helped to have some sort of short intro dialogue or something play before the game starts. But overall, a very unique and enjoyable game!
Soundtrack is very polished. I like the approach of using animated photographs, and it fit the theme well. Lots of variety in those graphics, and I enjoy how it directly tied into gameplay expectations. I'm not sure if this was intended ot act like a rhythm game, but if so, I had a hard time getting the game to act like my actions were in-sync.
This game was awesome and the take on the theme was amazing! I think this game might be the most innovative game in the jam. Definitely out of the ones I've played. If this game doesn't get #1 for innovation, I don't know what will.
Holy cungadero
Very original, i liked it a lot! Everything is well made, it's a funny experience
Don't know what i exactly played, but i really enjoyed it, great job :D
I'm... not sure what I played here, but it sure was original and interesting! Good job!
Wow, you really just ran this other comment on my game through quillbot, huh?
Ah I see the spammer doesn't like being called out. Well then, don't play this guys game.
Did someone hijack my comment?! XD lol. interesting way to get attention in a jam. Never seen that before...
I played this three times and I still don't really know what it is, I just know it's amazing. It was a bit laggy on my system, but the music was banging and it's easily the most unique game I've played here. I can't say it was strong on game design, but it was definitely entertaining. Fantastic work.
PS: Thanks for the Linux build.
Thanks for playing, three times over nonetheless! I think you'll find that game design doesn't always need to be in your face, and that the best design is invisible. An example, for every scene that had a weapon in it, I had a light reflect off the weapon to make a glint that is brighter and more legible. And design of course doesn't always need to be about mechanical depth, here I was simply using the gameplay to set the stage for the experience. Anywho sorry bout lag, the whole visualiser thing in the background is totally the culprit there, and thanks again for playing!
Never played anything like this before. Gripped my attention the whole experience. A very, very nice audio-visual presentation. It was very subjective, but had me laughing the whole time, saying "What!?" Loved it! Very unique and interesting. It's nice to see some personality really come through in a game. Fantastic experience!
no idea what I was expecting here but definitely not this 😂😂
But honestly super original.
nice submission 😂
I came into this game with low expectations based off of the meme-y looking nature of it. I still don't quite understand the function of the scoreboard but I thoroughly enjoyed the chaotic and fun nature of it. Can't believe I'm saying this, but great job!
This should absolutely win the game jam.
The best game ever, very good design, idea, theme and character. LOVED IT! also play our game https://kapodev.itch.io/hurry , Glory to Ukraine!
