The enemies were definitely fun and balanced to fight against, and the visuals were fun and polished. The implementation of the theme was great! My only complaint would be that there was not really much indication on if you hit and enemy of a wall with your bullets, so it was sometimes tricky to tell how much damage I was dealing when far away.
Great game. The visuals have a great style with the particles, and glowing. Although it started off very challenging, making it kind of hard to get into. Audio also could have used some improvement. Felt kind of empty compared to how much personality the rest of the game had.
The bullets flying around and the walls closing are just a perfect match for the theme. The difficulty also increases in a very thoughtfull way, gives the player time to adjust to the controls. Awesome!
reallly fun little game! the difficulty seems alittle random at times, i got the same levels twice in one run aswell sometimes, but the shooting was nice and the movement felt really good! nice job!
Love the polish, art work, audio, and theme but I feel like the player has an insane fire rate but other than that this game is great!
Some cool classic bullet hell action going on here, and cool idea to fit the theme too!
Really fun to play, IMO you nailed the correct amount of difficulty for the bullet hell patterns and the walls closing in is a very cool mechanic! I wish there was a Continue/Retry option because I died quite a few times in the later levels and I was really curious to know if there is an ending or not.
Sounds were indeed a bit quiet. The controls feel good, I like that the levels are random, and it's very easy to pick up and play. I can definitely see this concept being expanded (no pun intended). Well done!
Really cool game! The sounds are a bit quiet, but they are very cool! The graphics are really cool! :D
The barrel is a bit hard to cram in between bullets, but otherwise it was really fun! Good game :)
Great use of the theme in this one! Also the story while simple, is a very fun take on the basic dungeon idea. No heroes or enemies, but health potions, barrels and chests! Gameplay mechanics work well and controls are nice. I think the game could use some more mechanics though, like weapon upgrades or maybe possessing different objects that have different abilities. You could have a coin character which could do a coin flip to reverse time for a while or something.
Since when are jam games so well polished? I remember a time when jam games looked like shit and played like a nine year old coded it, following a tutorial of wich he only understood half because the tutorial showed an older version of unity.
This however feels and looks like a finished game! Heck, there's even a little cutscene at the beginning. It's not much but I would 100% believe it if you told me that this was not a jam game.
Interesting use of the theme and cool idea for the enemies having rewards sprites... I started the game going straight to the chest to collect it. kkkk
Pretty crazy color scheme... It was kind of fun to look at... everything kind of neutral and the player being a full green glowing spirit.
