I enjoyed going through the game how I normally would the first time, then realizing woah how do I get the good ending?
The gameplay and stage are straightforward enough that it really just depends on the player to decide to go through the hell of trying to get it.
Fun and a great jam submission!
Thank you (✧ω✧)
very good game but whoo boy is gettin that good ending rough. A retry feature if you mess it up so you don't have to play the entire game again would be nice! Overall though, Great job!
Yes, replay chapter button will be great. But I didn't have time to do it.
I will add it later.
Thank you :)
Love the look and concept! I was a little confused on what to do to get to the good ending, but over all it was cool. Good Job!

Go this error when launching after download:
Oh(
Ok, I will try to fix it later after the jam.
But you can play this in browser if you want.
But, yeah, sad
Got to the GOOD END!
The game is very cool, it looks great, this dithering is gorgeous, and it gets fun to play once you're trying to get the good ending, with some interesting bullet patterns to navigate between in order to find the right spot to shoot the right things.
Thanks for sharing!
OOOOoooo! Good ending. Cool!
From what I see, it's really hard to do :)
The visuals and gameplay are very cool. Sounds were a bit repetitive, but that's okay. I loved the narrative and the fact that you had to work for a good ending. My only gripe is that I was confused by what I was supposed to do- I thought I was supposed to destroy the outer big red circles or maybe the white thing orbiting the grimoire. Maybe that's my fault for being confused.
Thanks for playing :)
Yes, I'm just not saying in the game directly how you can get a good ending. And as planned, I wanted to add visual effects in order to show when it's good and when it's bad. Some visual effects I managed to do, and some unfortunately not (time :( ). Maybe I'll add it after the jam.
Super cool, brain-bending stuff! At first I thought the game was entirely too easy, but after getting the bad ending, I realized what the true goal was. Using the theme of limitation to mean limiting what the player 'shouldn't' shoot is a really impressive interpretation. Just great game design all around!
Oooohhhhh :)
Thanks for the compliment. Glad to hear that my hard work paid off.
Wow cool game! The narrative stuff is pretty cool, and it even has multiple endings! Really well made dude :)

Very nice game, feels great to play and looks great too. Bad ending is probably a bit too easy because if you just immediately start shooting you can clear each phase with no dodging at all.
Thank you. (*¯︶¯*)
Yes, the bad ending is very easy to get. Just the way I wanted it. I wanted to give a choice of a simple but wrong path, or a hard but correct one. But it could have been more difficult.
very nice graphics as pointed out by everyone. got the bad ending.
Thanks a lot. (✯◡✯)
As I see many got a bad ending. But what's the point in a good ending if it's easy to get :)
absolutely beautiful looking game and an interesting narrative to go along with it :))
I blush :))))))))))
The art in this is gorgeous. It feels a little clunky with the dialogue popping up so often, but there are definitely some neat ideas here and a bullet hell with a story certainly seems to be a fairly unique idea.
Thanks for the compliments. (^◡^)
Yes, the dialogues can be quite annoying when they happen this often. I need to think about how to better integrate them in future projects. Make waves longer, play with animation. I need to experiment.
I would recommend marking the exe version as the primary version. I couldn't install the game through the itch client because it installed the web version which with Godot doesn't work on itch's client.
The story was nice but I feel the dialogue came up a little too frequently; it was a bit annoying having the gameplay paused so frequently. The gameplay was simplistic but still felt fun. The art was very nice looking. The audio was also simple but fit the looks nicely. I like that there are multiple endings. Its always a cool to see that in game's with a story.
Pretty cool entry.
Thanks for the advice.
I'm not very good at itch yet, I seem to have fixed the problem with loading. If not, then I'll figure it out.
And yes the waves are pretty short, if I made them longer it might make the game better.
Very cool colours and pretty fun. Would be cool if the game was longer :)
I would also like it to be longer, but time. (o^▽^o) <3
Art and color palette choice was excellent, I really enjoyed the feel of this game. I got the bad ending (pretty cool that there are alternates!). My only feedback would be that I could start shooting at the boss right away, and it took a little while for bullets to spawn and be a threat to me, as a result, each cycle was really short for me.
Nice work!
I'm glad you liked it.
And op bullets boss. Yes, I think I could give too much time for this. I just wanted to give the player time to assess the situation and react to it, perhaps I can reduce the time. I will test it.
This is very cool! I like the atmosphere!
