I love everything about this one! It looks and sounds great, the patterns are super cool to deal with and the controls feel super great, because all the sound feedbacks are right on point and I love the visual feedback of enemy death or of the clearing bullet ability for example, they're super satisfying. Finally the difficulty's perfect so it's super fun overall.

Great entry, thanks for sharing !

Solid game, loved the paper art style and the sequences for upgrades was an awesome idea! Ghost town was my favourite level because if you train them around long enough it just makes one juicy ghost in the middle! very fun, nice sub! :D

This was really fun!

There’s a special charm in something so nice emerging from simplicity. No in-your-face colors or flashing lights, just sheer smooth and responsive gameplay. It was my first time using WASD and IJKL and lowkey might use that for a future game for directional movement AND shooting.

The graphics gave me a Mr. Game and Watch-vibe and the music effect when going slow mo made me realize I should have implemented something cooler when I paused / died in my game!

Really solid entry :)

Lovely sketchy style and cozy gameplay loop
Also very polished with the bullet preview and the mechanic in itself being great

Great visuals with sound, also really like the mechanic when you can modify your pattern between round.

Impressive visual! Game is challenging but very engaging with the upgrade system.

Very charming game. Love that you can see the bullets before they come onto the playing field and how you can preview how to bullets will split in the upgrade screen, just really neat details that adds to the charm. I do think I noticed something unintentional: When you use slow-mo, some of the bullets sometimes stay slow even out of slow-mo. Also, the boss is very easy if you pick all the split upgrades and some fire rate ups. Overall was very fun.

Developer

thank you! and yes, there is a bug causing some of the bullets to stay slow

I really enjoyed this game! The art style is awesome, I love it when you destroy an enemy and you scribble over it, it's so thematic. Sound are great too and the gameplay is challenging and fun. The ''sequencing" mechanic is interesting and powerups give this game replayability. Bravo!

Made it to the end! It was satisfying to shoot 20 bullets at once.

would love to see more bullet upgrades.

++ Points for visuals and interesting way to incorporate twin shooter controls with keyboard. The idea to visually present the upgrades for the players was neat too.
