Really cool game, the visuals and music gets you a nice vibe. I like the mechanic of the shots getting slower the more you hold, so you need to shoot, hold a bit and release for optimal damage. Just a problem with music not looping properly, and enemies that don't move and aim straight down are annoying to deal with. Great game overall.

The art looks amazing, I also really liked the music, and it's very fun, the use of theme is excellent. 5/5 game!

Fun game! The driving factor that got me to complete the game was the leaderboard. I think it could use a directional shooting mechanic as the enemies in the waves come from all sides, and it might introduce some more nuance and variance for the possible high scores. Overall, great work!

Really goood game! Very nice mechanic with multiplier. Cool tutorial. Music was very climatic. Love it!

This is a great entry! The pacing of the game was excellent, the consequences by choosing your level of difficulty is a great implementation of the theme. Shooting was weird, as if I put in a “breather” between shots, I could shoot a lot more at once, but if I kept shooting, it would get slower over time. The shooting menu: absolute genius! Great idea! One thing: where does the high score get saved? I want to see the list! Well done with this game jam!

I had it on x25, couldn't help myself, my computer had to do crazy math every frame hahah. Great game, I liked the idea of add and subtract and that you had to shoot the "Start" button to start, great game!

I went full x25 the whole time.  And I think it breaks the game XD the score goes unreadable, the music starts to lag, and most importantly, your bullets don't hit people if they are not spaced properly.  I don't know why that is, but it looks like they are blinking instead of sliding across the screen.  So if the enemy happens to be inbetween the blinks (and they go real fast on 25) then they wont kill the enemy.  Was fun, well done.

almost forgot, your tutorial was great.  I loved shooting the start button =)

Got to around 1.7M on the normal mode , it felt a bit like the score didn't go down that much when you get hit (or at least you can offset it well with the multiplier) so this may have been cheesed a little,
That said the game was fun ,the bosses are cool (the first rotating one especially, as it gets close to hitting you at the edges) and i like the frenzy mode a lot

Wow. This was fantastic. Great concept and the execution as well.

5/5 for me.

Very polished game, I experimented with the multiplier and found that around 10x seemed to work best for me. The vfx in the boss fights was absolutely epic. One of the top ten games for sure.

Chad gamers like myself play at 1x multiplier

I love the visual effect! Seems that player shoot more bullets when "tap-release-tap" the shoot buttom rather than "pressing" the buttom. Maybe it is my broswer's problem?

Really good game! Leaderboard didn't work for me, but my score is 240k

I fell in love with your game. It was extremely fun, but I noticed that it lacks a touch of challenge. It's extremely hard to lose in this game.

This game is really fun. I was a bit underwhelmed at first because there was no death mechanic, but I ended up playing it a lot to get a high score. You can keep the score that you gained in the tutorial by the way, if anyone wants to try getting the maximum score in controlled. However, sometimes the tutorial broke if I moved or changed multiplier at the start of it. Also, I noticed that you can mash the spacebar presses to shoot a lot faster than just holding it. My poor spacebar button. Other than that, nice music, nice visuals, overall really great.

Really nice game, well done!

I really ejoyed the take on the theme, especially the dynamic factor of it.

Beautiful bullet patterns and impressive variation in both graphics and enemy dynamics.

Really fun gameplay loop !

I really enjoyed the dynamic difficulty system where you can adjust the gamespeed on the fly and get a different score multiplier for it real good stuff :D

The music is also really awesome, it has this sort of chill vibe to it during the levels and then the boss tracks are intense ans slap so hard !

I was expecting to not go far at all but i managed to unlock frenzy mode XD i subbed a score but i don’t know if it registered when i clicked the button (so sorry if there’s any kind of double entry or something)

Anyway had a blast, real cool game :)

the game has an interesting atmosphere, and the gameplay is really fun. I just felt the enemies shoot too much. Overall, I enjoyed the game a lot. Congratulations

The Background Music was really suitable and decent, The game was really fun to play, the multiplayer idea was really cool, and the bosses and enemies were greatly done! This is really one of the best submissions here! great work and concept.
Note:I really liked the main menu idea and the tutorial too, very creative.

the background was really cool. It was easy to cheese points by lower the speed, moving out of the way and then increasing the multiplier. The bosses were cool. and having a leader board is a great idea.

could share a link to the shaders that you used for the background

Thanks for your comment! Yeah in hindsight I think the boss fights were much more fun than the normal waves. Good idea about the shaders, I've updated the description with all of them.
