It would’ve been impressive enough to add a skill tree to a game jam entry—but somehow you managed to submit the game to TWO different game jams!

There is a lot of potential here, and once I figured out that I should match my attacks with the enemy colors (and avoid hitting them otherwise), the gameplay opened up to a highly dynamic experience. Skill trees may be intimidating to some players — so for a post-jam version I’d work on easing the player into this one. Great job!

A nice polish game. I like a simple gameplay but scared of math behind each shot, cuz it freezes app for 1-2 second each cast. Well done!

haha well I found the bug in those freezes. There was an issue with the trail render plugin version I was using so when drops would spawn with the trail render effect it could be stuck in a while loop.  It is fixed in my offline version now. Thanks for playing!

Great job on skil tree! I love the mix of mechanics. There are some performance issues with complex spells. Bigger arena with some variety would be nice. Great job on making this so far. This could be very fun with more variety, enough polish and balance.

Nice game, brings memories of about 25 years ago!

The game gets repetitive after a few minutes, but it's a game jam, so I can't expect much, I know. It would be nice to have to explore different areas, so you can keep the same mechanics for fighting and have a game a little bit different from what's popular nowadays.

Prerendered animations are nice, unfortunately the colour scheme you use for the spell make the enemies look like cheap variety of the same plastic toy and you can't really notice or appreciate the details. In the future you can have a predominant colour like skin, robe or armour and still have some nice details in different colours.

Initially I didn't understand how to shoot, so add an animation when you deal the hits, something that maybe start from the player or anyway makes it more obvious that you are attacking.

As others said, the skill tree is impressive, I am sure you will have lots of nice contents to add if you will stick with the development of this game.

Well done!

I had a fantastic time playing this game! The decision-making aspect with upgrades is both challenging and fun, and it really keeps you engaged as you weigh your options carefully. The sounds are spot-on and help immerse you in the experience, adding a lot to the overall atmosphere. It's clear that a lot of thought and effort went into designing the mechanics and balancing the game.

Great job on creating such a thoughtful and enjoyable experience! Keep up the excellent work, and I’m excited to see what you create next!

There’s a lot of work involved in creating a skill tree, yet you managed that and also added zoom/pan levels(I’m seriously impressed)! The 3D sprites look great, and the effects inside the circle (and the circle itself) when casting are really cool. gameplay easy to understand and feels fair . Awesome entry!

Very fleshed out game, and I enjoy it. However, I don't really understand how it's played, so I suggest a quick tutorial in the future. Very well made though!

Wow!  Your skill tree is insane - so cool.  Personally, I was terrible at the combat, but I was still blown away by how much you got into your game in two weeks.   As another Construct 3 developer I am very impressed.

What      a       skilltree      !!!! Seriously, wow we love the skilltree! Solid vampire survivor like gameplay. The addition of choosing where the attack hits is a nice touch. Congrats! We are working on games with extensive skill trees as well, so we know how much work goes into them!
