it's an interesting game for sure

Developer

Right. Nice hair and teeth... got it. Thanks for playing and taking a look!

Nicely made game! Had a little bit of trouble with the camera control but I’ll admit there’s a very good chance that’s user error. Well done!

Developer

No... it's clear I could work on the camera control... though, I'm starting to think it may stay as a feature.

Great work! Very messy courthouse so hard to move around ;) Overall I'm loving it, congrats

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the mess!

Nicely done! I managed to get about 212 score, but after the time ran out on me it seemed to reset and keep my score, which I'm not sure if it was intentional.

Anyways, the amount of content is impressive and I'm even more so impressed that you chose to go 3D. My first idea was for a 3D game as well, but it just seemed to be more complicated than I was willing to bother with. Congratulations on submitting and good job!

Fun and bizarre take. Graphics and ambience were cool and the idea is pretty original. I really liked the paper (sorry dont know the word in english) that appears when you lose, and the minigames were fun. The running part felt clumsy but in a good and funny way. Great job overall! had a laugh or two.

Developer

Thanks! Glad you had fun!

I liked exploring the big and hazardous  building and playing mini-games. The controls don't feel very responsive, but otherwise it's a fun game. Good job!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it, Woona! Thanks!

Bruuuh it's so hard to control my lawyer! I got a score of 38... only had time to complete one case. I really liked the animations when you crash on something and the little letter at the end! Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing. I'm happy you enjoyed! I tend to get a only 3 or 4 cases before I run out of time.

I knew I'd never make it as a lawyer. Maybe I'd be better off as the courthouse's new janitor -- they're clearly in need of one.

Developer

Thanks for playing the game! I guess Courthouse Janitor Simulator is my next endeavor.

Grateful to see a game in 3D with such a cool aesthetic. It was really awesome overall ^^

Hey! Thanks for the great compliment!

Thanks! Sorry you missed the sound - the "-" / "+" control the sound effect volume and the "[" / "]" control the music volume.

Hey, our games have the same name :D Great job. Neat concept. I like the additional challenge of the controls - I think this lawyer was drinking on the job. I had a really hard time with the puzzle, though. The pieces kept rotating as I was moving them, even when they weren't touching other pieces.

Developer

thanks! That puzzle mini game! I was ready to scrap if only I had more time. I don’t know why unity has such a hard time with meshes that are not primitives, but it’s clear what you see and what the physics engine runs are two different things.

Fun concept, but kinda janky to play - the running part doesn't feel super good currently. The matching game worked well, though. The graphics look great!

The camera movement is very weird. But the game is pretty simple to play except that it is very hard to control the player. After some polishing it could be better (:

I am a truly incompetent lawyer.

(I wasn't able to get very far as the minimap that helps guide you was halfway clipped off my screen, had fun though, thanks for the game.)

i had some kind of bug in the webgl build where everything looked like this

but all the white was also flashing. this made it very hard to play unfortunately.

i didn't really see much but wanted to let you know about the bug. i tried the game in three browsers and all had the same issue.

Developer(+1)

Wow! That is trippy and beyond my understanding of Unity or WebGL to know what that could be. Thanks for showing me. I hope if someone else experiences it, they'll let me know.

Very fun and goofy, love it. Pray I never become a lawyer

Developer

I will gladly take 'goofy!' Thanks!

This made me chuckle - good idea and interpretation of the theme! It took a second to get used to the movement but it was a good challenge. Enjoyed the mini games too.

Developer

Thanks for enjoying the game!

A creative interpretation of the theme ‘Scale’ and I enjoyed playing. Thank You! :)

Developer

Thanks! So glad you played!

Definitely something controls took a bit but ya not bad.

Developer(+1)

The controls are tricky. I couldn't decide to make them a little smoother, or keep it as part of the challenge - until I ran out of time to decide. Thanks for playing!

But why is this courthouse so dirty!!??! :) Loved the take on this, and the multiple small games that provided variety to the gameplay. Controls took a bit of time but then I was cruising in the hallways, hoping left and right to avoid the mess left by our cleaning staff (I hear they've been on strike for the past 17 years), shoving people against the wall to reach the doors in time, praying to have to do the memory game rather than the puzzle one (I just suck so much at it).  I almost made it to 500 points when the Gods of justice decided to send me to a room 40 feet behind me with only 6 seconds to reach it. No amount of shoving people around could have saved this case (the accusee was probably guilty anyways..)

Really loved the graphics and mood of the game. Awesome job!

Developer

Thanks! I appreciate the head canon -- it's exactly what I was going for. Glad you enjoyed it!
