My team and I are curious to see other projects using Godot in this jam as well! Make sure to leave a review in our game Scale Tale and we will leave one in your game too as soon as we can! 馃槂

Scale Tale is a classic 3D platformer with one particular mechanic... you can scale the environment around you! Make use of your resizing powers and get the 5 Power Scales that the lands of Firian are hiding!

Made with Godot 4.2.

I'll absolutely review your game, but it'll be in the evening.  There's that whole job thing xD.

Only been using Godot for a couple/few months now and really enjoying it! I will definitely review the games in this thread

You have managed to make a very interesting game with low experience in Godot, that's very impressive! 馃槷

I've left an in-depth review of the game in your submission's page, keep making games at Godot, you are doing really great! 馃榿

Thanks so much for the review! I attempted to review Scale Tale, but the performance was a little rough on my laptop (It's old :)). I will take a look at it again when I get on my desktop tomorrow.

Love Godot and glad to see it becoming more popular in jams - here's our game, and my first time using Godot for a 3d project: https://itch.io/jam/game-off-2023/rate/2348282

Will take a look at everyone's game here soon

Will try to play the games here during the weekend.

Here is our game: https://itch.io/jam/game-off-2023/rate/2364090
It was the first time we used Godot :)

Submitted(+1)

Sorry for not responding earlier, this weekend was busy as hell 馃槄

We already left an in-depth review in your game, having an online option is quite unique and interesting for a jam game, good job!

Submitted

Yeah, I totally understand. I only got time to play like three games. I think I should timebox me more when I review games :) I haven't forgotten your game or the games in this thread but it will take some time to get to them.

Submitted

No problem! There's still a lot of time to try games and vote, just don't forget to rate ours 馃槈

If you have some spare time check out my game here: Mad Lab by John Rolan Ferrera (itch.io). It was made as part of my month-long challenge to learn Godot (and actually apply the things I've learned). So far I've been loving the engine!

Submitted

It really shows that you have learned quite a lot, impressive work! 馃榾

Be sure to check our game too, we share a lot of core mechanics, just in different dimensions hahaha 馃榿

Remember to play our game too! 馃槉

Nice! Scale Tale 馃 鈰嗏瓛藲锝♀媶 was a lot of fun! It actually ran really well with wine under Linux.

Looking forward playing it more once I get a controller 馃幃 馃槉

Submitted

Thank you for playing!! We'd appreciate if you updated your review after playing with a controller, it's quite important for us to know the differences in controls, thank you! 馃榿

Submitted

Do you have any recommendations for controllers?

Submitted

Any controller will do, my team played mostly with Xbox controllers and I used a Nintendo Swith Pro controller. Beware that some Nintendo controllers may have the A and Y buttons switched!

Submitted(+1)

Awesome idea! Our game was made with Godot 4.1.3 (C#). We've been using Godot to make jam games for a few years :)

See if you can figure out the weights of all the element cubes :)

This was made with 4.1.2: https://thewarlock.itch.io/scale

I鈥檒l go through and try the browser-playable games here at least :D

I think we already played each others games but I made mine with the latest version of Godot 3. Because I had trouble with z levels and canvas layers making my sprites whizz around the screen in Godot 4...

Submitted

Yeah, we already played each other games! 馃槃

Hope you can use Godot 4 in the future, your game had a lot of charm! 馃槉
