Concept was interesting for me, I really liked the mechanics ovo <3
Good Game
Thanks for playing.
pretty cool game!
The graphics are kinda clean (though the lack of shadows does make the game look odd).
Managed to get to the first 3 levels but sorry I got bored as there are no new mechanics to introduce.
Having 1 player to control the NPC kinda makes the NPC feels controllable ??? it feels kinda odd.
Anyways the game feels OK for your first time and looking forward to see this concept getting more refined.
thank you for playing and sorry for no new mechanics. For now I'm focusing on events/programming so that the gameplay can run well without errors.
Cool game, and I liked the unique control concept! Radical.
Hi!
Passed the whole game! Well, it was interesting and fun. The music is pleasant, complements, immerses. The story of the exploder gave context to the game. The game is well balanced, keeps the tension until the very end, if you get confused for a long time - you won't have time, but there is also time for a few mistakes.
The only thing I noticed is that the explosion button fires one cell before it, meaning that by the time I got to the button, the explosion was already over. Also, in the option to continue the game, the first auto-save file, and the others are not available, perhaps something else was expected, but it was not included in the result?
I would also probably like more resonance with the theme.
In any case, it's a good game, congratulations!
Really liked the background music. Coupling our actions to the mouse was interesting. I do wish the movement on the pad was a bit smoother, kept feeling like I was getting stuck when changing directions. Felt like I was getting better near the end levels, maybe we were the mice all along. Anyways, good work!
Cool control method that I don't know if I have seen before. Everything in this game looked great. I would have liked to see more mechanics as I feel like I had seen it all after the first level. Keep it up!
Overall, really nice job on the game! The concept was really interesting, and the game felt really polished. One thing I struggled with a bit was the controls, and not being able to easily switch from one direction to another, like up to left, without first going down to stop the npc.
Good game
The art style of the game are amazing, i really like the music :D
Very interesting idea! The gameplay does become a bit rote after a few levels, but I think capping at the number of levels was good, and the time for each level was good. Well done!
nice game! I like the concept and thought it was interesting how you incorporated the NPC challenge! I also enjoyed the visuals and the gameplay. Good job!
I like seeing smart stuff, and the way you check the NPC challenge with the mouse indirectly controlled by our character is very smart :D
The explosions are quite impressive, I bet you spend some time working on them!
I would love to see more changes between levels (new obstacles, ennemies, power-ups?).
I also wonder why our character has some stats (HP, MP, level)...? It looks like you used a tool like RPG-Maker but didn't have enough time to fully customize it :D
Still a nice entry! :)
thank you for playing. I just start gamedev on this year, so i not enough experience and plugin for now. I hope with using this concept can make some fangame where Character have animal/monster partner like pokemon, digimon, etc.
That concept of the player, controlling one character to use ingame controls to steer another (non player) character is really cool!
Very nice game!
No you are awesome! I enjoy the concept of 2 characters on screen navigating a maze. Really chill music selection and RPGmaker charm. Great job!
The graphics were clean and nice and there was a very slick presentation from the start; the intro tutorial is a level of polish I wish I got to with my entry. That said, not a fan of the way the controls worked. It was an interesting idea/experiment, but I kept getting tripped up with the character already standing on Up when I hit Left, stuff like that.
Is it made in RPG-maker? I always like it when the engine is used for something other than RPG. interesting take on the theme and NPC challenge. Good work
It's an interesting take on movement that took me a bit to get used to. I also liked the art and the music, it sold the setting well. I think maybe there could have been a bit more veriety in the levels, maybe some different art, or a touch of dialogue at the begining of each level to mix it up. But its a good game, congrats.
Really neat idea! At first after reading the instructions, I was skeptical on how the NPC part would truly be any different from just directly controlling the character but you actually pulled it off really well. The simple puzzles and relaxing audio also made me keep playing long after I thought I would stop too, so that's always a great sign. Nicely done!
Thank you for playing. The way it works is the same as a stone puzzle where usually the player has to push a stone or similar object onto the switch so that the door opens. And in this game I changed the stone into an NPC that can move by following the MC's instructions.
