Oh man, I filled up my screen for fun LMAO, nice job guys!
Nice game. Liked the idea of using dead bodies!
Good little idea. I would suggest making the previous bodies a little more rigid, so they don't slide so much when you try jumping on them. Overall good job.
Thanks for the feedback! Definitely feels that the corpses need to be revisited.
Had fun but the physics were janky. Great entry!
Ya definitely something to work on. Thanks!
I like the idea of leaving your body as a platform for your future self. But, jumping was really difficult for me. I was having a hard time going through the levels and maneuvering the boxes was also difficult for me. I think I might have been doing something wrong because I checked out a few comments and no one else seemed to have the same issues. Cool game though. I liked the little demon guy.
way cool concept! and i liked the squishy sounds when you push around your sacrifices hahaha! & great way to incorporate the theme :)
Good job guys! Loved the mechanics and how you guys implemented them! Some levels were really challenging, awesome stuff.
Clever mechanics and suits the jam theme well. I'd lock the dead demons in place they've been sacrificed, but hey, it's your game and overall it's fun. Good work!
Very nice rebirth mechanic! I was a little anoyed that the corpses didn't stay in place, but after a while a got the hang of it. Very clever puzzles and a nice ambiance, thanks for this entertaining entry!
Really liked it. the only things I saw are really nit-picks. The area in the first level where it shows "Sacrifice [E]" sends me back to the beginning rather than to the same room, and the movement seems shaky.
I'm assuming you used transform.Translate when moving your character, as I've seen that cause the same thing during my testing. Another option would be to set the velocity of the rigid body (playerRigidBody.velocity = new Vector3(*direction*)) instead of just changing its position.
Overall, really fun and well done!
The initial sacrific in level one was supposed to bring you back so that you can see the effect it would have if there wasn’t a respawn point. Thanks for the feedback though as it’s sometimes hard to tell what can be annoying for a user when developing!
We will definitely look into some smoother physics mechanics in the future as that appears to be a big pain point.
Mechanics were awesome, but sound fx were a little annoying when having contact with a dead body
wow.. amazing! it’s fun - great work! only the space-key and the jump-mechanic could be improved a bit. but the idea to solve puzzles by self-sacrifice — great :-)
I really likede the game! Good music an the squelching sound was awesome! But maybe you should limit the spawns :D
Hahaha, I was wondering when someone would do this, we fully knew it was possible and wanted to leave it so others could also enjoy it!
Wow, I never even had the commitment to do that even though we knew it was possible!
I just loved the sound they make.... or I make? :P
I really enjoyed this and hope that you continue to build out this project. Great submission! I’ve rated your game. I hope that you’ll check out and rate my submission as well. :-)
Really cool!
Very good core mechanic, I'll give you 5 thumbs up for creativity! Super well done :)
I really like the core mechanic to the game. It's super neat! The main thing I would say that needs tweaking is that the sacrificed versions of you seem to roll around on their own as well as they appear standing straight up, which is too tall for you to jump on. Otherwise, great job!!!
Great job on your first game jam! Congrats!
I've seen a few of the "self-destruct self" to advance games already, but yours does the best of getting the player right back into the action by making the respawn close to the start and keeping the level short. Good call! You're already aware of a few issues with the game. I gave up on the climb level (3?) just because I couldn't get the physics of the bodies to work in my favor. Perhaps locking them in place while the player is airborne might help? That would allow you to push them and reposition them, but not worry about losing your footing while jumping on them.
Overall, well done on your first foray into jams and Unity. Keep making games!
Very Interesting game.
good job, please anyone rate my game.

Thank you! I'll head over to yours and give it a go shortly! Appreciate the play and feedback.
Very nice aesthetics and gameplay mechanics, although I found it hard to control the character, and sometimes the jump button did not work. Overall great job.
Thanks for playing! And the feedback, we'll be collating all the feedback and updating the game with a bunch of fixes once the voting period is over.
