See i didn't know your idea but i tried it then i figure out that it's conway's game of life. But it seems intersting.Rated it.

I got to admit. I'm not familiar with Conway's Game of Life at all. I don't know what this is.

It's very hard to write a comment for this one. The game is good. My experience with the game wasn't pleasant. Probably have the wrong mindset for it.

I enjoyed looking at it. I enjoyed listening to the sounds. I can't enjoy doing both at once.

I can't really associate the sound with the picture. I keep trying to answer the question of "why exactly is that sound playing?" and ended up more and more frustrated each time.

The UI is really easy to use, can get a bit hard to see clips menu sometime.

Good game. Not my cup of tea.

I'm not really that familiar with Conways Game of Life but this seems like a pretty ambitious project for a Game jam. Cool stuff.

The last time I thought about Conway's game of life was a few years ago in collage. This is a super flavorful take on the that and I had tons of fun messing about with the sliders. Very unique and cool. Great Job!

This is a really cool thing! I'm not really familiar with the Game of Life thingy but watching the things change over time can be a little bit trippy in a fun way. Really really cool!

This is the second Conway's Game of Life I've seen in this jam, but the other was very different.  I enjoyed being able to manipulate the sliders and see how it affects the outcome.  I lowered the creation down to 1 where there was almost nothing left and then kicked it up to 9 and watched these really elaborate symmetrical shapes appear.  Very cool design.

I enjoyed trying to find interesting patterns. I thought all the dials were interesting to play with. It was a cold little experience. It's funny because this is the second one of these games I've played in this game jam. The other one had objectives that you could try to accomplish but I ended up ignoring them just to play with the shapes.

Yeah I mean it's a cool implementation of your own version of the conway game thing :)

Your game is the second one to take Conway's GoL as a reference. But this one is really unique. I can't begin to guess what kind of rules are used and how it ties to the sounds. Very cool! My only complaint, considering this as a jam entry, is its lack of introduction to the interface. It feels like a lot is thrown your way at once and it can be overwhelming!

This one is beyond unique! I don't know where to start or what to say, honestly. I'm not familiar with Conway's Game of Life and I feel very out of my depth. But it seems impressive!

This is mesmerizing to look at and listen to, especially if you play it fullscreen. It's so interesting to see how the different parameters effect the simulation. This couldn't have been easy to make, I'm blown away. It makes some very pretty screenshots!

Developer

Thank you!  I can truly say I've zoned out for longer then I planned at times watching it. I appreciate you taking the time to check it out!

pretty unique game and interesting. I hope you add some tutorial for the game, because I had a trouble understanding the game when I play it first time. Overall, cool creation, good job for completing the game.

Developer

Thanks for checking it out! Tutorial is in the works, that seems to be the number one suggestion, and I agree it needs it.

Not the first Conway's Game of Life themed game I have seen this jam. But yours is mesmerizingly hypnotic.

Developer

Thank you! I've gotten a bit mesmerized myself at times. I would be interested in checking out others based on it if you feel like sending me their names.

This was cool - I found it interesting to experiment with the different settings and see what would happen. Nice work!

I really like the game concept and the game start menu really pops I really like how you can tune slides to have different pattern effects and if you had music and sounds the game would have popped more but I understand it's to the time limit, great work D.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Click on sounds on the bottom left then clips to add in the sounds, the patterns determine which sounds play , I’ll add a tutorial after the jam.

Submitted(+1)

having the tutorial will definitely do but I will try that out :D

Wow, what an interesting concept! Really cool hearing all the different patterns created from the simulation. Great, unique take on the theme! Good job! :)

Developer

Thank you! Im glad you enjoyed it! Yours is in my top 5 favorites so far.

Unique and interesting game!  I was getting some cool patterns going at times!

I can't seem to hear any sound.

Click on sounds at the bottom left then clips to select which Audioclips should play, you can randomize the selection or manually select clips with the toggle buttons. I will add a Tutorial after the jam but there’s a short video on the game page that shows the process. Thanks for checking it out!

Incredible.  Well done!

Wow, your idea is seriously intriguing and totally unique! Gotta admit, I was a bit lost at first and it took me a good few minutes of randomly clicking and experimenting before I finally figured things out. Eventually, I ended up in the comments section and discovered there was a YouTube clip hidden at the bottom of the description that showed how everything worked. My suggestion would be to put that clip right at the top of the description so that people can easily find it from the get-go. But apart from that, seriously, great job! You nailed it!

Developer

Thanks for taking the time! That's a really good idea, I moved the video.

I like the look of the game and the idea is clever and original.
