Just a wonderful idea and the gameplay itself. You did a great job!

Great game! I had a lot of fun playing it. Collecting the rocks and then throwing them at enemies felt satisfying. Well done!
this was so much fun. Metal music imidiately put me in Doom feeling. every mechanic was crisp and worked as I expected it to. It would be cool if I could grab the rocks stone golems throw at me. Really good work!
I liked it a lot. The mechanics and the sounds are amazing. I would have liked to know how much energy/life I have left and maybe have a way to replenish it? Also, some more speed to outrun the enemies if they got many (*died at wave 6 with 22 following me.) But, great game!
Thanks! Glad you really enjoyed it! Thanks for the input on the speed aspect. We wanted to add additional upgrade options, though just ran out of time. I agreed that having a better UI indicator would have been helpful. The idea was to show how many items you could hold and then indicate how many you had as they either got knocked of from being hit or used.
Really fun game, and was super satisfying to smash the monsters. Did a short playthrough if you want to watch, timestamp 1:06:14 https://www.youtube.com/@constantanxiety7182/videos
Checked out your video on it! Loved seeing you play it! Couple of tips for ya: The rocks you collect also work as a shield from getting hit, so it's a balance of when to throw them and when to hang on to them. The second one is the blue sparkle object that pops out of the portal is an upgrade to how many items you can collect. You'll get those at certain levels to help with how crazy it gets. You'll also need those for level 10 which is the boss fight :) Thanks again for checking it out!
Amazing idea, but the game a bit difficult and starting the whole run from the beginning is too much
If you polish it more it might be something great
Yeah it can be a bit difficult in that regard. We were hoping to have some time to explain the mechanics a bit as a lot of people don't realize that as you collect items "rocks" they act as your ammo and shield to take damage. We had also planned to add a better UI to indicate that, though ran out of time to add that. The plan is to finish out this as a full game. That should be a lot of fun to add all the things that we had planned in the if we have time list :)
Looks like it could be fun...
The only problem is I couldn't figure out how to get off of Difficulty Level 1,000,000 :)
I really like the world it's really amazing and the art used in the game is good, and I like the game mechanics. Would you mind trying out my game and rating it according :).
Very nice! I like the way of using the weapons as a shield also, making the player think about when to shoot and when to shield. Very engaging music that fits with the action. The only part that bugged me was the slow movement but I guess thats part of space :D
I loved this! Only could make it until level 3 and man what an experience, good job!
Cool and fun game, I like the idea of travelling between dimensions and shooting rocks
Engaging! I was reminded of Half-Life 2's infamous gravity gun. The varied enemy types helped broaden the gameplay and aesthetic. One idea if you're open to it is that certain enemies could drop high value glowy "rocks" that would explode on impact, doing area damage.
Nice little game. Did you try building for WebGL? It's the best way to get more players to take a look at your project.
Thanks! I'm glad that you're enjoying the game! We are very open to feedback!
The idea you came up with is very similar to what we had planned, though just ran out of time to implement it. We were going to do something very similar to that concept only it was going to be a strength, weakness thing with the elementals. Fire rocks, ice rocks, and charged rocks. Fire would be weaker to earth, earth weaker to ice, and ice to fire. That whole triangular system. I like the idea of having some types be AOE as well, that would be a cool system to add as well.
We did build for WebGL, though the downside to that is our Voxel system that we created to dynamically generate the levels took really long to load each level, and it really hurts the smoothness of level transition, since WebGL doesn't take advantage of multi-threading nor burst. We did try to get a good WebGL build and it does run that way, just really takes you out of the immersion of the game when you have to wait a full minute for the next level to generate and load.
Loved the theme! If you want to test our game here is the link :) !

All in all a great game. Really cool and fun mechanic, I think that has potential for future development for sure! Reading these comments I just realised there is a boss, I reached level 5 (I think) and lost so, need to go back at some point for sure!
But definitely a fun game, that I would play again! Great job and who ever came up with that mechanic, good idea!!
