Super impressive submission! It looks great, it was fun! I couldn't get very far though lol. Also it was weird, when I first started a new game my perspective was all wonky, like backwards and upside down. I kept moving my mouse trying to fix it but I couldn't get oriented right. Then I died and started a new game and it worked fine, so idk what that was lol.

Great aesthetics, this game is really call would be awesome to have more defenders or upgrades so you could fight massive hordes in the game. Really liked this.

Solid shooter game! The moment the boss appeared was a wow moment for me. The sound effects were great as well! Great work on the submission!

love the art style. Also amazing polish on the mechanics and visuals. UI could need a little bit work with an addition of a settings menu.

Developer

Haha! That's absolutely true. UI really needs more polish. Definitely an essential part of any game, that I often postpone until the last minute... and it is noticeable!

Thank you for playing and for your feedback! I'll dedicate more time on UI next time, for sure!

Very cool game, i like the art style and gameplay was very nice. The range of enemies (especially the rouge movement) especially the end boss was very good.

This is fantastic. Fun, short and sweet. Love the way it looks, and I really enjoyed the boss fight. Great job!!

Thank YOU for trying it

I had fun with this game, and I appreciate the bit of story background provided in the intro. I found it very challenging to defeat all of the enemies and I kept getting overrun by the minions spawned during the boss fight. Great game!

Wow really impresses with the level of polish here! The controls feel great and there's loads of variety in the enemy/pickups. Think this might be the first game jam game I've played with actual loading screens too haha.

Really great work!

Having a web release with Godot forced me to do so. Otherwise, it was freezing.

In fact, I discovered that every time a mesh is rendered for the very first time (might it be a cube), there are some computations going background (maybe shadows or lighting, I don't know) that produce this awful effect.

So I had to load all the models behind the load scene... That's what's going on behind the curtain...

Haha yes I had the same problem. Love Godot but I hate the web build situation at the moment. Mine seems to lag whenever a particle effect is spawned for the first time and then it seems okay. Hoping they focus on sorting it for the next version!

fun game, the music and sounds gave me some Mount & Blade vibes and I loved it.

Great work.

Developer

"Mount & Blade" wouah! That's a huge compliment!

One of my favorite game ever!

Really fun game. Boss felt great. The game looked great. I survived the boss and wanted to keep playing! Great submission.

Developer

tbh, I initially planned to have more levels. The idea was to tell the story of the retreat of the hero, from a lost village to another... but I very quickly understood that it was WAY to big to do in ten days. So I focused on one single level and added a boss as a reward for the player :)

Thanks for trying it and for your kind words!

Fun game and I enjoyed the shooting Zombies! Maybe my connection but it was a bit laggy for me.
