Fun game! Seems like the pterodactyl position is based on mouse movement instead of the mouse position, so i ran into an issue with that after the first menu popped up where i just could move to certain areas. overall fun though and looked great!

Developer

Yeah, there's an annoying bug with Unreal Engine web games where bringing up any sort of menu "releases" the mouse. To fix this, you have to click on the game again after you've chosen your upgrade, and it should recapture the mouse.

Thanks for playing! :)

Really cute game, with a nice progression system and adorable graphics. Pterodactyyyyyyl to the rescue!!!

Such a super polished and pretty game! Absolutely on theme. I love that you made so much cohesive and lovely art and that it matters where you click the meteor.

Very fun and engaging game! I loved the story setup, the cute dinos and the well balanced gameplay, which felt fair but still provided ample challenge. The upgrades were creative and enjoyable to try! Well done on your submission!

Very cute dinosaurs. Solid implementation.

Mind sharing what did you use for the leaderboards?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing!  I saw your game is using Godot, this plugin should work for you.

Very neat! I didn't make it into the top leaderboard, but I was close!

Liked the detail with bouncing the meteors as well as the upgrades. I thought it's even a bit unique and it was pretty fun as well, nice job on the game!

What a cool concept! I love pterodactyls, so getting to play as one is awesome! (and choose your color) It's the little things in life :)

Brilliant. Missile Command meets Asteroids. Make it vertical and your finger controls the pterodactyl and this concept absolutely has a home on mobile devices.

Developer

Currently, that's honestly exactly the plan! Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for playing!!

I really liked the style of the game. Very good idea of just turning around the fate of the dinosaurs (or at least trying). At some point it just went too fast for me, but it is an awesome game for a casual game round. Had much fun playing it. Good job!

These highscores are insane.. cool game

I like the graphics a lot i did not completely understand if i hit a meteor with another meteor if it would have splash damage :D

That was a great idea and inpumant of a game! but the control of the mouse its a bit clancy for me to enjoy to the fullest possible. every time i have to choose an upgreat, its get out of the game for some reason and not alline with the Petradon, make me loss . but the sfx its great and the art its well fit :)

This was a really fun take on the theme! I really liked the sort of ‘pool ball’ physics on the meteors, getting combos was quite fun, and when I realised I could hit the meteor again I got some very cool combos in. The upgrades were also a nice touch and felt well thought out. The difficulty spike was maybe a little harsh in what I think was round 3, but maybe I didn’t pick the right upgrades. Great job!

Really cool, excellent mechanics. It really plays well. Gets tough very fast but love the upgrades system and all the little extras. Great!

Absolutely wonderful! Really love this take on the theme and you've managed to make a single mechanic so much fun! Chaining hits feels so good, especially when the dinosaurs start helping. Lovely presentation in both visuals and sounds, great touches with the upgrades, colour customization and leaderboard. Fantastic job!

This game is such a blast! I didn't manage to get a good score but still had a lot of fun!

Loved it. Well done. Awesome game.

Had a lot of fun, the mechanic was really interesting. I loved the visual of the meteor chain!  I have two feedback points, but one is a nit pick. Nit pick first is it would be better if the colour picker was mouse click position instead of the two sliders, doesn't impact any thing :P. But the one that was more an issue to me is when I chose an upgrade it was like my mouse was no longer in the game and the pterodactyl was offset. I had to re-click into the game for it to sync again which caused me to miss meteors with each upgrade. I played in fullscreen. Overall though those are minor and was an awesome idea plus executed really well! :D Great job!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, both of those things are things we would have loved to fix, but were difficult to figure out (my buddy's convinced he coulda solved the color picker thing but it would have taken a little too long. The other problem, I think he's a little less certain on how to fix). Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for playing! :)

That's always the way. It's like in our game, the language drop down box is the bane of my existance! Everything else was ok but I couldnt get specifically the dropdown to scale normally for some reason... xD I'm sure when there is no time crunch pressure you guys will figure them out, particularly your budy! He's got this ;P

Super fun, could use an indicator for when the upgrades come or game is near ending.  Had a few goes at it, liked the upgrade system too
