This feels really good to play.
I was playing with a keyboard and the layout of the chosen keys was a little bit inconvenient.
Playing with a qwertz keyboard, the Z key is not besides the X key.
I'm so sorry, I didn't test it with the keyboard very much. When all of the votes have been done, I will change the layout ASAP.

A lot of content (atleast in my eyes) for 10 days! Character art is really impressive. I agree with another comment the RNG of the seed direction was a little frustrating but loved the mechanic itself.
I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like this but I couldn't jump if a seed landed on my head.
I liked that I could ride the beetles(?) but without seeing the screenshot I was a little nervous to try!

Looking at the world map, I'm pretty sure I'm stuck in room 3 (same room as your second screenshot). I can't get the seed to point the right way to get me up there. If you have tips, I'll try again -- but I spent almost 10 minutes trying to roll a seed to where it would let me jump up and couldn't figure it out. I'd love to play the rest of this game!
The Tip is ... you just throw the seed on that point. The most important thing is jumping. You have to jump from almost the top. It must be a position so that the head doesn't hit the top block. If removing a block at the top might be easier.
You can actually hit the ball slightly to change direction. But it's too random.

Cool game, I like the visuals and overall feeling. Sound and music fit well. I enjoyed throwing balls at enemies and how they can bounce around doing extra damage. I like the idea of the plants that grow platforms, but I couldn't seem to control them well enough to put platforms where I wanted, it felt like luck to get it grow where I wanted.
There are earlier areas I feel like I got lucky enough to grow a platform for, but this section was especially brutal because I hoped to make the jump over the top instead of needing to rely on the rolling seeds. I died a bunch here.
Anyway, overall great job!

I actually try to control the growth of trees more. But because we're using Box2D, we don't want to force the physic too much.
Indeed, we added the throw by pressing up and down. And hope that it will help something more. But that's it.
By the way, your game is awesome. Hope to see this game (or another game) that is longer playable and has more detail.

This looks and sounds fantastic!!! Right from the start the palette you chose is appealing af. Looks so good. I love that I can play with a controller and it feels so authentic. The look and feel is spot on for GB. Nice work.
Bopping the seed ball around to kill enemies was great. That part felt new and interesting. At one point, the seed one sprouted and I got stuck in a wall and couldn't get out. :P And I got a little frustrated at some of the jumps that were tricky (especially over those dang spiky bombs. (I died many many times to those. lol).
But this game had so much polish and I had a lot of fun playing. Hit me right in the nostalgia too. Really awesome stuff! :D

I like it, but sadly I can't seem to progress. I think I'm supposed to position the seed balls in a way to grow towards a higher platform, but when I get it almost right the gap is too small or I keep sliding off. So I'm a bit stuck there, or maybe I'm completely missing something else I'm suppose to do first. (the bit that I just noticed in your second screenshot is where I'm stuck) I can try again later.
But otherwise, it looks and sounds good!
