Well, shooting and killing the enemies feels incredibly stiffing! Also, the camera following the mouse feels great. Good job there.

Neat little game, I like your take on vampire survivors without the automatic attacks, I just wish I could hold the mouse with the club and the pistol, the rifle became my main and basically only weapon because of that. With some more diverse enemies, and MORE of them, along with some cool player upgrades I could really see myself playing this for hours, really nice job!

Funny one!
I'd love a little more care in SFXs, and maybe background music.
But it's super juicy!

Good game.  At first I didn't realize the travel to town was a button...and I was wondering how to get more bullets....  Once you travel to town, it all becomes clear.  After learning how to strafe/back away from enemies, it was quite easy to eliminate them with just the bat.  That said, the guns felt very satisfying to shoot!  The hand drawn art was cute.  Such an innocent looking kid wants to be a demon hunter.

Nice sweet simple little game. I played this second longest of all the ones I've played so far. After reading the comments I went back and finished the game. I now knew how to buy items but only purchased the membership card. Loved whacking what looked to me like pumpkin or gourd demons. Satisfying. Good juicy. Great sounds. I didn't even notice there was no music (good job!). I usually turn it off anyway (especially, if I'm going to play for a long time (and dislike games that don't separate music from sound effects.)) I noticed that diagonal seemed faster but that was cool, it gave me better control of my distance. I loved the coins pushing me around, it was funny and at times helpful. Thanks, great job.

Neat experience.
Juiciness here is at its best - the only additional thing i could dream of is a little knock off to player's attacks, otherwise - one of the best in this year's jam.
Gameplay is basic and simple - nothing special to say, but i feel there could be more variety in enemies, at least.
Sounds are brutal and very lively even without music, loved it.

Surely gonna try it more) Thank you for this submission!

Such a fun game! Simple graphics aside, the combat and coin collection is really fun and juicy. I've played this game more than any other so far!

A very juicy game, only complain I would have is that I did not realize I could move when in town and went back and forth a few times before I realized I could move around and had to buy the card xD

Really great particle effects, screen shake, and slash effect. The game feels really responsive and rewarding! The numbers were also great

Fun game! felt rewarding to mow down enemies and that all the actions had weight to them!

I loved the feel of hitting enemies, its super satisfying to see the numbers, hear the sound and watch the particle explosions.

one thing - you can see that the player moves faster diagonally then horizontally, to fix it you need to normalize the player movement vectors.

fun game, nice work!

Not bad game, with fun gameplay and interesting juice. Some sound issues and a little confusing at first but overall a good experience. Nice job on the game.

Fun game. My only complaint is that the sound hurt after awhile but that isn't a big deal. Loved the juice and idea behind the game. Also, do the coins bounce you back when collecting a lot? If so that was a nice touch.

Nice juice, simple but effective game loop.  Coin pushback was weird, but kind of funny in a way.  Very short, got my license after killing 70 monsters.  Honestly you have a nice start here, I'd flesh it out more after the jam.   Also I loved the BIIIIIIG STICK.  :D

Tbh I really have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing here lol. But hitting things is super satisfying. Does 'going to town' do anything? Seems like it's just a screen I can't interact with. Also, I noticed coins push you. Not sure if it's intentional, but if it's not and you're using unity you can fix that by checking 'isTrigger' on the collider

Thanks for playing! Yes I should have probably made it more clear that there is a shop menu in town.

You can walk to the left and the menu will appear:

And regarding the coins push, I was trying to make the coins feel like they have a bit of a weight to them, but yeah It probably made movement a bit harder when they push the player.

Ah word, I'll have to give it another try and check out the shop. Sometimes I had to pretty much just submit to the coins shoving me across the world lol. If I were you I might try something like hit stop or a little screenshake on pickup to give them a little umph. Anyway nice job on the game

Good use of minimal sounds, I like the protagonist's nonchalance, you figure things out naturally, gives some nice dopamine.

Only thing, it took me a while to realise you can walk left to get things in the shop. The town should show the shop menu immediately.

Well done!

I had a great time shooting the demon, really cool gameplay feeling and very juicy!
