Creative game.. I see a bright future for this game. plus point on using "Ctrl + .... " for GMTK 2020 theme.

Really liked the cut/paste mechanic, but I found the puzzles quite difficult. Nice art style too.

Really sweet gimmick at the end. It looks really good and is fun. Maybe a bit short. Good job!

Really cool visuals and idea. Nitpicks:

1. You can't control where the clone goes or retrieve clones to  restore control.

2. You can knock over clones and they don't affect switches when knocked over. This resulted in a lot of retries since you have no control over where to place the clone(which could be intentional)

3. Teleporting back via cut-paste is an interesting mechanic. It reminds me of the original Ori's checkpoint system. Perhaps combine the two?

4. The keyboard shortcut idea is interesting but normal buttons would make it easier.

5. The idea of losing control as a resource is interesting but the clones aren't attacking you if you run out of control points.

6. I was surprised by the ending. It was neat. I was sure that it would end in either a glorious clone revolution or your sidekick trying to stop you.

Overall. really polished entry with lots of potential.

I love this game! The aesthetic, the gameplay, the level design, the works. I would pay money for a bigger version of this game because the end left me wanting more. Very well done!

Really cool look and feel, and unique controls. Just to note: on a Mac, using ctrl is not that easy :)

Developer

Ah, should've thought of that! Next time! Thanks for your feedback!

Very unique, and unparalleled levels of polish.

This was a bit hard to play but I highly enjoyed doing so! Very beautiful to look at and probably  one of the more unique spins on the theme.

Thank you so much!

Nice game with adoreable art and fun controls.

Very cool game, with great art and music. Also last twist after finishing game was great, worth it :)

This ride on the platform was a bit too long though.

Please add more levels!

What a cool game! Taking copy and paste into a platformer is super interesting. I got a bit confused on the level that introduced cutting though, it seemed like I died whenever I got to the bottom? I was confused about that - awesome game though! Great graphics and funny dialogue

Thanks so much! try stepping on the platform and riding that down! :)

Ah, there it is :)

I REALLY like the aesthetics, but I'm only getting 1-2 frames a second and there's really bad input delay. Is there another way to play?

Developer

I would suggest downloading the Windows Executable

Great job on the artwork, and I like the literal twist at the end :D
