I can always appreciate a good werewolf game, and I like the stealth mechanic you have going on here! I will admit that I often struggled to get the blood vial, but that aside, I liked the layout of the whole mansion-feeling place. The visuals and music tie nicely together with the vibe of everything that's going on - the music gives a sense of anxiety and mild hopelessness. Additionally, I like that you gave options for alternate player skins - that's a neat thing for you to manage to get done with a jam game! Overall liked the game, nice job! :D

How does your game fit the theme?
You are a man under the curse of becoming a werewolf when in direct moonlight. If any human is in sight when in werewolf form, you lose grip of humanity and involuntarily attack.

I thought the game was a bit too easy but it was a nice touch to have a component forcing you to eat some people, the game works well, the presentation is nice and it was a fun little experience, nice work!
Hey, cool little puzzler. You did a great job. My only suggestion would be to add some way for the player to speed up. Maybe a "hold shift to run" type of thing. He felt a little too slow.
Cool game! Music was really nice, and the mechanic to become a wolf to jump the gap to get the thing was pretty sneaky. Well done!
Great atmosphere, both the music and visuals are on point, and the mechanics also fit the theme very well. Good job!
Nice atmosphere and music. Bit weird that I had to type in the style number instead of just shifting through the styles :P I also came across a big floor gap I couldn't get across without turning into a werewolf and killing four people (also, if I didn't stop killing I would've been stuck on the other side). Was there a jump button I missed?
Also kinda feels like it needs just another mechanic to make things more interesting.
Thanks for playing our game and for the feedback! <3 There's little arrows next to the style number but they're practically invisible x.x we definitely need to fix that.
There's no jump button, that's intentional. We were going to put a skylight to ensure that players can't get stuck but we ran out of time and had to do without unfortunately.
I agree! The game in it's current state is a bit lacking.
Awesome, another werewolf game! We took a tower-defense meets farm-sim approach to ours and it's really cool to see a similar concept but in a stealth game.
I really liked that you had to use your wolf form to get some ingrediants. I think that the games biggest issue is that its a bit stop-and-starty? It would have been cool to see some more active elements, like objects you could move around to block moonlight.
I love the music by the way! Overall very nice work.
Thank you! I'll check out yours later this evening!
I agree, currently you can just wait out the bloodlust which kills the action. Thank you for the suggestion! One of our current ideas is that the werewolf will howl when transforming; nearby humans will investigate the area for a while, forcing you to hide/run away.
Thanks again ^^ Our sound designer is awesome. It's a shame that so much of the sfx he did were cut due to time restraints x.x
Great atmosphere. I personally like the darkness of the game.
I also agree with the moonlight, it is a good mechanic but it would be nice if it was a bit more difficult to move around it. Maybe have something moving and blocking the path around the lights so you need to avoid them when moving?
Haha, I love catching people off guard; that's my cheeky way of saying welcome to the game.
Thank you so much! <3 Pixel art is my crutch admittedly, if I did anything more I think I would've died this jam. A little cheat I use is to draw in 64x, but I use a 2px brush so it appears like it's 32x. Certain characters require more subtle movement or designs so I'll use the 1px very sparingly! Do it too much and people catch on though.
One of the better werewolf games I've encountered so far. I love the balance between bloodlust and humanity, it makes things a lot more interesting. I also like how you actually have a task to complete (finding the ingredients) while trying to maintain human and under control. The only thing I would recommend is perhaps make it a tad brighter? I'm sure that was part of the aesthetic but for me personally it was a tad too dark. But other than that, great job!
Man! That's some awesome game we got here! I love the idea and exxecution
Nice idea and quite well executed! I agreed with some of the comments here that the moonlight kind of weak right now, but it's enough to get the idea delivered.
Great game! Audio, music and graphics were on point for it.
The moonlight could be more of a threat (moving? flashing?) because as it is now, i mostly just walked past it, but the puzzle to get one of the ingredients was pretty clever, and definitely some design space i would like to see explored more!
Overall great jam game with a good concept, and cool to see a game made by a larger group!
Thank you for the kindwords and the feedback! My team is considering making a cleaner, more complete post-jam version. (Assuming we do) I will definitely see to it that the moonlight is more dangerous. <3 We did some last minute tweaking which unfortunately made the moonlight quite trivial.
One of the ideas we're keen on is howling upon transformation, attracting nearby humans to investigate.
I see I'm not the only one who went for a game about a werewolf losing control ;)
Though, I feel like yours is quite a bit more well-executed than mine
This is a lot of fun! The puzzle to get the last ingredient was clever, too! The spritework was cute, the music set the tone perfect, all in all a real well put together wolf 'em up! Give it a little more polish, more levels, and a story and this could totally be a full-fledged game.
