I love your art style! The gameplay is fun. Well done.

I quite enjoyed the 2D mixed with 3D artstyle, though it did make the 3D platforming a bit difficult at times. There's a lot of personality in the presentation that I'd like to see carried over into the gameplay.

This game is a beautiful platformer! The art is unique and has a really cool aesthetic, and I definitely would want to play more post-jam! The locked camera does make the platforming quite difficult, but the actual level design is smart and clear. Good job!

It has a unique artstyle but this game needs a lot of polishing.

It can become a very nice game once polished.

Congratulations on finishing!

I sank into the ground quite a lot :( I love the unique artstyle though. Camera was working surprisingly fine (so many 3d plattformers are just unplayable because of the camera). The first moving plattform could have been a little slower.

I think the game would definitely benefit from some control touchups since in a platformer like this not being able to see where I'm going with the camera (Up and down) or going to land via shadows is a huge frustration for the player.

There's also the spinning platforms a while into the game which don't actually carry you along with them but instead move underneath you, this makes staying on and then trying to jump off at the right direction incredibly difficult since you have to manually follow the platform which is moving under your feet to not fall off.

Gameplay can definitely be tightened up!

couldnt have said it better

Similar to what everybody else is saying: I felt the artwork was incredible but the gameplay a little tricky- mostly just because it was hard to estimate depth. Felt the responsiveness and general movement feel was ok though. Overall awesome effort for the weekend!

I really like the hand drawn black and white 2D artstyle in a 3D world, very cool aesthetic! I only wish the platforming mechanics were on the same level. Everyone else in the comments here has made the excellent points that some additional camera movement and a drop-shadow below the player would help a lot. Also the sound effect for the jet-pack is a bit delayed, for future reference it's really easy to cut/modify an audio clip with a program like Audacity. Very cool submission overall though :)

Very cool art, and on top of that is a 3D platformer! The only problem I have with the game is that it's a bit hard to appreciate the distances before jumping with this kind of camera, but it's still a really decent game!

Cool art style ! Something that would help a bit would be to add an indicator for the jetpack

Submitted(+1)

Really cool art but i think it would be best to add looking up and down for this game and also hide mouse cursor cause for me it showed my mouse in the middle but i fixed it by just trying to take a screenshot with lightshot.

I really like the aesthetic of this game! The handdrawn sprites mixed with a 3D environment looks great! The platforming/level design was good too but on the second part of the game it became incredibly difficult because the player is unable to look up or down. Because you spend the second part of the game descending for the most part, it's hard to judge where/what I'm going to land on. Adding a shadow for the player would help too in terms of showing where they're going to land. More information on the jetpack would help a lot too, on the first part of the game I was never certain how much fuel I had and on the second I was never sure when I would get boosted by the jetpack. Giving an indicator for how much fuel you have and when you're going to get boosted would make this feel more precision based than guesswork. Overall, I really enjoyed this game, aesthetically it's great and I think with what I suggested the gameplay could be even better!

This game looks great and feels really nice! Very dreamy ;). The gameplay was great, but the moving platforms should've probably waited for the player a little, as they're pretty difficult to land on. The visuals are great, as i've said. Well Done :D

PS: if you'd like, please check out my game :)

I checked it out, really nice game!

The look and feel of the game was very charming and unique. Overall a fun game :) I think a shadow directly beneath the Owl would really help with the platforming aspect of the game.

Nice game but i found the bug. When i reached the strange box the player continuously used jet pack and i couldn't return to rocket (((

Developer

That's actually intended, the strange box interfere's with your jetpack and makes you jump at random interfalls. It's the out of control part of my game.

Oh okay sorry. I'm not attentive)

Developer

np, if it feels like a bug then it needs some additional work on my end ^^

Love the assets, and the owl's space journey.  A little difficult to jump around but cool concept.

The aesthetic is incredible for a game jam, the perspective is glitchy but still a fun game regardless.

This game has such a nice chill atmosphere, and the concept is really cute!
