This is great! Fits the theme well, is intuitive, looks good, plays good, got the whole package here. As someone else mentioned I can totally see someone trying to speedrun the game, it'd also be interesting to have a scoring mode that perhaps keeps track of how many times you shoot and how accurate you were, add a secondary challenge to sort of planning out your shots and making them count. This would have fit excellently into the "Only One" jam as well! Nice work!
Thank you so much and yeah, having a scoring system count the time you shoot would be really nice
This is a really good game! It goes super fast to understand the premise of the game, and we can totally see this game having some kind of speedrun mode! Well done!
This is just, MIND BLOWING. Love THE ART, THE MUSIC, THE EVERYTHING.
love this game :)
thanks!
This is a really cool concept and a very good implementation. Everything fits nicely together, looks, feels and sounds very good.
Not much negative to say about this except it's a bit exhausting when you miss a single enemy in the opposite corner of the maze and have to walk all the way back. A roll, dash or sprint would have been cool but that's just me being too lazy to walk!
Wow, great sound design and atmosphere. Mechanics were solid and the addition of the timer between switching gun and the torch was an excellent bit of polish. Very impressive for the time frame!
Dig the music, the gameplay, the animation work and the SFX. Very solid game, could be great with some more development. The application of the theme didn't really click for me, personally.
Some of your juicing work, like the shadow/lighting effects, are damn impressive for 48 hours work!
Great music, fun gameplay, but I can't really see the theme in this - sorry
Very nice concept, and good execution. Really cool music and presentation. One minor grip is that the spawn point of the projectiles is not always on the tip of the gun and when for example you shoot to the left they start from below the player feet, which means that if it has a wall below they instantly collide.
Also may I ask you how created the shadows effect on the labyrinth walls?
Thanks for playing the game!
I created the shadow effect by following this tutorial. Hope it helps :D
I thought that this was a well made game that plays really well. I like how it fits the themed of joined together and it feels really good. Great game!

Super fun! Main concept is really enjoyable.
Simple but very fun game. Feels amazing to play. I personally think the torch is super powerful, field of view needs to be smaller in my opinion
someone said it needs to be bigger so idk what everyone wants tbh
Then it's just right, haha
I think the field of view is great the way it is, but it would be awesome if you could expand it with a powerup or something
Super solid game. The music and sound effects were fantastic. I loved the concept and player control. I wish there was a bit of enemy variety to make the game a bit more challenging, but a wonderful demo with a ton of potential!
Great game, followed up on this one after initially seeing a post about it in the discord. Mechanic fits theme, but what sets this game apart from generic is the immersion! The lighting changes mixed with the soundtrack , take this game to another level. This may be bias though, because I have listened to the soundtrack on its own like 10 times since it was shared in the discord lol. Song slaps, shout out to Yzee! Great entry to the jam!
Glad you like the music, I was trying to come up with something would fit the atmosphere of the game when the game and it's the result
The music CARRIES this game. It's so solid and drives the feel for me. The visual aesthetic is pretty good as well.
Gameplay wise, I would have loved to see the mechanics developed a bit more. They felt really well done individually, but like they were just kinda mashed together. I played most of the game with the torch on and only pulled out the gun to shoot, which could have influenced my experience. Really like the lighting effect as well!
Thank you so much :)
Great representation, the game idea is really good but it was way too hard to navigate. Maybe, the circle should have been larger.
torch circle or gun circle?
the torch
I really like the main mechanic behind this submission. Though I have seen some concepts that are a bit similar to this, I think you've executed it the best. The movement is feeling good, the shooting is fun, and the way you've done the lighting is amazing. You got a good aesthetic going and I really like the pixelated graphics.
I did notice however that there isn't a cooldown for shooting; I know you're meant to shoot fast but someone could click extremely fast (or use an autoclicker) and aim blindly, and they're bound to hit an enemy even without seeing them. Having a small shooting cooldown will force people to not shoot blindly and to use the flashlight more often.
This is a very well polished game, and it would be really cool to see this one expanded on!
Game looks and feels very good! I really like the idea that you can hold either a torch or a gun at a time. Art is amazing and creates a decent atmosphere. I also really like the name of the game
Looks awesome, the sounds are crunchy. Good job!
Cool idea to make you decide between you vision and offensive option. <3
I can see real potential in something like this especially if some enemies take advantage of that in some way.
