How does your game fit the theme?
Our game is about taking loose, drifting bits of junk and bringing them all together in the name of cleanliness and safety. Hauling junk slows you down, and combined with the velocity mechanic, it means you have to use skill and tactics to keep your stuff together, keep your time from running out, and avoid getting pulverized.

Great work. Loved the concept and it was super easy to pick and go.
Very clever gameplay. a very good take on the theme. very fun & addictive.
Great job :)
This is a very good example of how awesome games can be made from a simple game mechanic. I've never imagined I could play a trash-collecting game for such a long time before I played this game. Also, the artwork, music, and SFX is superb and creates an engaging and immersive space atmosphere which I like a lot. The controls are brutally difficult to master, making it impossible to do some precise movement, but I like this because this is how collecting junk in space should be like.
I don't know if you intended to make it so, but I noticed that when bad junk hits a good junk or another bad junk, it becomes good junk. So I figured it out that the better strategy is to wait for the bad junk to hit others and then collect it, instead of using the ship's repulsor field to do so. Still, collecting bad junk is extremely dangerous since it's very heavy to catch, but somehow I love this helpless feeling when your ship got dragged by the heavy trash to the edge of the screen. Anyway, Nice work!
Overall, this is a very well-polished little game. I enjoyed it a lot.
Woooooah, I love the idea of the dual-purpose, risk-reward gameplay. Found myself trying to chase down high-value stuff only to get burned for my riskiness more than once. Wish my little collector was a little less floaty... but then again, it is space.
Great concept!
This is a really impressive submission, the graphics are really something else and the aesthetic is there. You've got a brilliantly designed main menu and the gameplay itself, though simple is very engaging and fun. There's some good use of sound effects and the music was very atmospheric; it really gave off that 'space' feeling. I found myself playing this one longer than I usually do for jam games haha. Very polished.
One thing that bothers me a bit is that the controls feel very slippery and it's extremely difficult to move exactly where you want to. Maybe that was intended, but for me it just takes away from the experience a tiny bit. There were also quite a few space junk that flew straight through the center, and I could just sit there and let them come to me. It would be nice to have a little bit of incentive to move outside of that zone. And, if you're planning to expand on this, a death animation or a score screen at the end would be really, really nice.
Overall an attractive and addicting game. This was a great submission!
The graphics are smooth and clear, and the music is nice and atmospheric. You also did a lot of different little sprites, and animation, and for a 48 hour jam that is a lot so great job!
I feel very floaty when trying to attract/repel the various objects. Some materials like doors and bathtubs stick right to me no problem, while tiny objects just zip right through the heart of my green field. My repels also feel a bit inconsistent, as sometimes a light .touch by the edge of the circle will calm an object while other times it bashes me hard and I die. Maybe making that attract/repel force at a bit faster/stronger could help the game feel a bit tighter.
I also found it much harder to get the tiny items than the big items. Maybe those should be the highest reward instead of the big items? IDK, that's a design choice.
It would've been nice to drop off all my items at once, but it seemed to just do one at a time which is another design choice. But it made me just want to hover directly over the trash chute since it was so hard to get back there instead of zipping around the map and maximizing my risk/reward opportunities.
Overall, I really did like this game, though. Clearly you got the "Joined Together" theme in there, and yet it feels fresh with the way you're constantly repelling and dropping off items. In a sea of games about magnets, somehow this stands out as extra fun!
Now I'm off to take out the trash accumulating in my kitchen....
Thanks for the wonderful feedback! Controls will definitely be tightened up after the voting is over for the game jam. We had a great artist on the team for all the sprite graphics and some other help for UI! Our audio guy (and the whole team) are really happy about the music and SFX too. And happy you enjoyed the game!
Pretty fun with some very nice graphics and game feel! I do like the weight you gain and how that effects your movement.
Really nice take on the game theme! The controls could be better, but still fun!
Very nice arcadey game! The stream game will stay up for ~2 weeks at http://bit.ly/bean-stream
Amazing work! Simple and CLEAN. Easy to understand, good art works and everything works great.
