Nice little puzzle platformer. At first I thought the controls were a little tedious with all the rearranging needed to get through the levels. However, it appears that was only in the tutorial to help the player understand the ways the blocks can be used and the design of future levels appeared mindful of this. Well done. The graphics are nice and the music pairs well, too. There's a ton of content here, too. I think you could have gotten away with just world one for the jam as those are plenty difficult. The difficulty in world two got really high and I spent too much time trying to figure them out. I guess that's a good thing!
Well done on making this in 48 hours!
I really can't believe you have so many levels and all of them are so good. In part it's because of the mechanic having so much potential. But there's simply so much game here.
My only complain is that I wish it was possible to scroll the camera in large levels to see what's coming.
An undo function would have been nice.
One of the most interesting puzzle games in this jam. Masterpiece.
Fantastic game. Cute graphics, lots of polish and great level design. The extra levels that reveal themselves is also a nice pleasant surprise. Great job!
Amazing game! The concept didn't immediately pull me in as much as Edna did, but it had a surprising amount of depth and the mechanics you chose to explore were really well chosen and made for some great levels. The puzzle design was excellent, as usual. Might be nice if there was an "undo" button, but the level design often allows you to undo your mistake anyway, and I figure this would be something you would definitely add with more time.
It's also one of the most complete and polished packages I've seen! Everything from smoke particles to dynamic block expressions makes the game feel like a finished, professional product. It's unreal how good the music and sound design is, easily professional-level IMO, and perfect for the game. It seems like a perfect fit for a mobile game if you ever wanted to go that route.
Thanks! Yep, I agree that the hook / mass appeal isn't as strong unfortunately :p
I'm glad you love the music; Shake onigiri did an awesome job with it! I also really like the facial expressions, they were done in the final stretch of development but I think it added a lot of character and I enjoyed learning to do sub-pixel animations for them!
I actually have a working rewind time implementation from my post-jam Edna version but didn't have time to integrate in here. Thinking about it now, since everything snaps, it's possible to do undo like in a regular grid based puzzle game and I'll work on adding that in a post-jam version.
Very nice! Everything is very well done. Presentation, gameplay, graphics, music, mechanics, all hit perfectly. I keep trying to think of something constructive to say, if anything it would just be the difficulty curve? *shrug* It's fine lol It's probably really hard to balance something like this with just 48 hours ;)
Good job!
Really solid entry! The way you incorperated the theme into the mechanics makes for really unique gameplay, and the puzzles are a real challenge! But a fun one. The difficulty curve is perfect (though I did gets stuck on the first jump for a while, but that's probably just me xD), and the little tutorial illustrations are a great addition. And like others have mentioned, this game really shines in charm. The aesthetic, the art style, the little facial animations and music... it all comes together so well!!
The only thing that bugged me a little were the switching controls. There were a lot of times where I thought I dragged the block to a connectable place (adding an X to non-connectable places is a great touch and much appreciated!) but the block would just snap back several times, to a point where it got a little frustrating. Since the block positions are very directional (up down left right), perhaps it would be better to click+hold the block with the mouse to activate the switching sequence, and then use the arrow keys to position the block, so it snaps right away. Alternatively, if you keep the current controls, maybe you could just add a little visual or audio indicator that the block is placed properly and will snap. :)
But that's just a tiny tiny little suggestion on an otherwise wonderful game. Congratulations on getting such a polished, fun result in such a short time!
Best of luck in the jam!

Thank you! The controls went through a couple iterations to simplify them during the development and I definitely wish they were better!
Maybe I'll just have the block snap to the nearest valid position instead of allowing you to free-form drag. This is one idea I considered but didn't have time to implement and get feedback on in lieu of all the content I tried to fit in. Maybe in a post-jam version!
WOW! This game's got a lot of charm. You nailed the theme, music, art and gameplay are great. Also I absolutely suck at this as well. Would love it if you checked our game out!

I suck at this but it's great
Cool, something were confusing but in the end it was just super cool, nice job.
The mechanic is brilliant, i love how tricky to set the white box in the right place to move another box to solve puzzle.
Level design also great, the difficult is right hard, some quite complex mechanic like "1-way wall" is introduced "smoothly" through brilliant level design. I feel so satisfied after finish a level. And damn, there're so mant levels to play.
Art and music is cool and highly polished
I'm so amazed how many things you can put in a 48 hours project

10/10 game! Good job!
A brilliant puzzle game! Really reminds me about SnakeBird, in the greatest of ways!
Amazing game. One of the best games I played so far.
1, The second level is very hard. I think It should be a later level.
Besides that, Amazing game.
I would be very happy if you would play my game.
Really nice game and love how many levels there are!
