This concept is so unique I love it !
The two weapons feels really great to play with thoses little recoils when you shoot or punch !

Thanks. Yeah, sadly it more of a defense tool than an offensive. Well, sometimes you just get the opposite of what you plan 🤷.
Pretty good! The sound effects go a long ways. I LOVE your tutorial system and how its baked into the level. I felt the "Fist" was pretty weak overall, and it felt like a large risk for little reward. It always felt like "dancing" around the enemies was the better strategy.
Thank you. The fist was supposed to be an offensive weapon, but when you actually play the game you realize that zapping is just easier and the punch becomes a tool that keeps the enemies away 😓. And yeah, I like immersive tutorials or just plain-up images with the rules. The Binding of Isaac is a good example of when I got my initial inspiration in this regard.
doesnt play well on a laptop with just a touchpad so cant accurately play
the shot and fist hitboxes being so far from the center makes attacking nearby enemies very difficult
there should be controls info in game as well

Thanks. The game has a few images on the arena itself that explains the basic control + you can't advance to wave 2 until you kill the first 3 enemies in a way the game is intended to be played. But yeah, playing with a touch pad could be an issue.
Great game! I was confused as to what to do at first, but after playing around with the electrifying mechanic, I realized that the line between two stunned enemies killed other enemies. Sometimes, I got several enemies in a line and zapped them all at once. It felt very rewarding! I also like the title: it's direct, and tells you exactly what fast-paced action you're getting into.
Thanks. The title was somewhat inspired by Love, Death + Robots 😹. And yeah, the more enemies you can zap with one swing, the better it feels.
the art looks really good, and the general controls were great, but sadly i had a bug where my controlls freaked out every few seconds, a minute in and the game crashed, definetly message me when thats fixed, the game seems realy fun
Thank you. Do you still experience this bug? Nobody else mentioned this before, and we can't change the build before the jam ends.
i think, that was because of my browser, after i had some issues with opera i switched, and since then i did not experience those bugs anymore
Throwing an enemy to the electric line you created is really satisfying :) Also the art and UI design is top notch.
I think the punch and electric ball should aim towards to your cursor to make it more responsive also after some time the game gets a bit repetitive maybe adding diffrent types of enemies can help.
Other than these small complaints it was a fun experience great work :D

This game is soo damn good. I havent been this hooked on a game jam game ever. From the marvellous graphics to the satisfying gameplay. I just cant believe this was made in 48hours. Great job by the devs
Thanks for the kind words 😻. Yeah, we put an emphasis on polishment, to make the game feel as smooth as we can. Sadly, bc of this we have very little content overall 😿.

Thanks. Yeah, that's a common thing people notice. Idk, it takes some time to get used to it, but I don't consider this to be the "biggest issue" per say 🤷.
Really interesting concept, I'm absolutely in love with the art! It's hard to aim though, the shot shoots off to the side and not directly where the arrow is pointing, might be a change to make if you end up doing more work on the project.
Thank you 😻! Yeah, we worked hard to make the game feel polished, but some small mistakes sneaked here and there. Idk, the "tower aim" is kinda a double-edged sword. But yeah, a classic aim could feel better, at least at the beginning.

Love the concept, I also felt that the shot not aiming directly at the cursor was a bit weird at first, but I got used to it. Would be really cool with other types of enemies as well.
Thanks! Totally agree, the game feels quite repetitive after you get used to the control and pace. We wanted to also implement some small traps (activated with zaper), but run out of time 😿.

A really fun looking game with some great visuals. The only problem I had was that it felt like the aim of the punch and zapper was a bit off
Thanks! Yeah, the zaper/punch axis are a little "weird". We basically had 2 choices: 1 is to switch between weapons and keep them in the middle; 2 was to keep the weapons on the side and use "the tower aim". We kept the second one only bc it was the first we implemented AND because the cat looks cool with 2 weapons at once. Game jams can be thought, and we had to make the aim sacrifice for overall better quality 😿.
