Hello!
Great idea with the collective health thing, especially for a swarm. It had a good design and a nice difficulty curve. The art was also nice, reminiscent of the Binding of Isaac.
The audio had some issues - I think the music loop can get a bit repetitive, and in there menu music and on certain attacks that is a "click" - this is when a sound file either loops wrong or when the audio tail has been cut off not at 0 db- it's super easy to fix but is noticable.
Overall good use of theme, and clear UI!
Really interesting idea.
This was a cool idea! I don't think I've seen this sort of collective health thing before, but it's really interesting. I liked the hand drawn visuals, I think that was a really nice style to go with, especially the main menu, that was done well. The game was pretty clear and easy to learn how it worked.
Some little things to note are that sometimes the enemies could spawn on top of you, which was a little bit annoying. Also, next time PLEASE make sure the sounds are at a reasonable level, that scream made me hit my knee on my desk.
With a little more polishing, I think that this would be really cool if expanded on! Good job!
Really interesting idea. I think fixing the known bugs and then adding a little more game feel would really help (screenshake, etc). One minor complaint, but it would be nice if you can hold down to shoot instead of needing to keep clicking. Just a small accessibility thing though and not needed for a game jam, haha. Good job!
Very nice and simple idea. It was short which is fine for 48 hours. The more enemies there are, the easier it is to hit something so maybe after a while, the enemies can't be shot anymore? Like the hide in a shell. Great game. Eager to see how far you go with it.
I like the concept of the shared health pool. I think this would be an excellent game to play with a controller. I think larger enemy variety would also be a nice addition, but I liked what was available. The art style really works well with the concept. Great job!
Neat artwork, I enjoyed the game too. I think you've got a cool idea with the joined health pool. I suggest you add some more "juiciness" to the game with some screen-shake or iframes. Overall, good job :)

Short simple game, pretty good! I appreciate the artwork and the music, and the gameplay is enjoyable. I wish the game was a bit more responsive towards my actions (like the healthbar). otherwise good game!

Also it's super cool to have the enemies kind of exist as a single unit, definitely changes up the gameplay in a really unique and interesting way!

Good idea, the game itself is pretty short but it's fine. I like the art style, it looks good. I wasn't quite sure what's going on in the beginning but then I realized what the enemy health bar is just not working correct, not a big deal honestly. Overall the game is good. Well done!

After the giant spider died, enemies stopped spawning so I guess I finished it. I love the artstyle!
A enjoyable game the game, I like the artstyle. I could move off the screen, even while playing in fullscreen mode. Maybe adding some empty gameobjects with box colliders at the edges of the screen could limit the player movement to solve this. Overall a fun experience, well done!
Really liked this! Music fits so well with the creeping filling of spiders filling your screen. I think a way to see the health/determine the health of the individual members of the horde will be useful
Thanks for the review, initially the healthbar was working and updating to match the health of the horde regularly, but it started bugging out after building the webGL. I'll try a more reliable fix for these bugs when I polish the game for a full release :)
I liked it! I wasn't entirely sure how it stuck to the theme, and there were a few bugs (lol), like the monsters don't spawn in if you died (had to reload the page), and the controls only worked in fullscreen. There's definitely a solid foundation here, I'm interested to see where you take this, if you decide to keep working on it
Controls do not exist, tried to do something and nothing else happened.
It uses WASD controls, and you click to shoot, did they not work?
