Fun game ^^ I enjoyed playing through it ^^ There's a few thing that can be improved in my opinion:
-The shield: It doesn't feel good. I didn't use it because its too small and directional. If you want to improve it I think you should make an Into the gungeon blank bullet type of power where every bullets on the screen disappears.
-The stun/knockback: It's a fun mechanic but the circle in which the stun applies needs to be more visual. This is especially true for a game jam because the players most likely won't spend time to learn the distance. Another way to fix this would be to make it bigger
Yes, the artwork for the abilities was probably the last thing we put in the game, so it was very rushed and unclearunfortunately! With hindsight, they should have been a bigger priority! We're glad that you enjoyed it though!
nice game and great artstyle.
Thank you very much!
The art is fantastic! Great concept, its really fun to play. Awesome work!
That means a lot to us, thank you!
The art is great. 100 percent didn't think I would see stuff like this in a 2 day game jam. I like the use of the theme too.
Thank you, we're glad you like our design! There were definitely moments over the weekend where we didn't think we would get it all done!
Looks very clean. Would love to play but it runs on 0.1 fps in my browser xD
Sorry to here that, we haven't really made many games in browser, so there's a lot to learn here!
This is incredibly ambitious for such a short game, well done! I ended up running into some slowdown that made it impossible to keep playing, but for the amount I did play I had a very good time
We haven't worked much in web before so we were probably being too ambitious with the graphics! Either that or we forget to make the make the materials instance XD
Thank you for playing! We will upload a desktop build after the voting which hopefully will perform a bit better.
This is very well made! I like the take on the jam theme, but I somehow finished the game while constantly shooting the enemies (probably my aim).
We ended up making the game a little too easy in the end! Not your aiming, the enemies were hard to hit and after the first round you have to kill quite a few before it kills you!
The character has some pretty nice dance moves :) (by spamming space).
Well he was a dance major before getting thrown into a pit! Gotta strut that stuff.
I actually fell out of the world xD. Except from that it was a fun game to play and a good concept. Nice job ^^
Thank you for playing! Was it the windows between rounds? :D We never got round to giving those colliders....
Yep, well just a little bug ^^
Great work with the art and particle effects on this one!
Thank you! The artists love to hear this!
Awesome work! I enjoyed the game, and I really appreciate the thoughtful button layout.
Thank you for playing! :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
the character looks really great and the gameplay is pretty fun aswell, but it lacks a bit of impact/hitfeedback. Often times I wasnt sure if I actually defeated an enemy
Yeah we ran out of time to implement the animations. Much to the annoyance of the animator who had made them!
Thanks for playing!
Kind of amazed how you managed to make that 3D art in 48 hours AND make a great game as well! The gameplay was a bit unclear in the beginning but I think I got the hang of it in time. Overall, great work! :D
Thank you! I'm really impressed with the art teams work!
Yeah we kinda forgot about tutorials till the last couple hours :D
Great Game I enjoyed it!
Thank you for playing!
Cool art and elevator music :P. Waiting for that leaderboards to work.
Congrats!
Thank you for giving it a play! It turns out the leaderboard code doesn't work on WegGL :( After the rating is over we're gonna upload a desktop version with a working leaderboard!
Art is great, aiming and dodging is too wonky. And it was fun to fall OOW :P
Thank you for playing!
The art is really beautifull! Absolutely fell in love with it! The gameplay was weird....I was able to get to the final level and win by just running around the external circle so the enemies wouldn't hurt me. Nevertheless, I likes how you linked the enemies health to the main character to give it a twist and follow the jam's theme. Great work!
Thank you giving it a play!
Yeah we had a nice idea but it turned out harder to make fun then we hoped! :D
Your art and style are AMAZING! This has a lot of potential for a post jam version with more elements like some particles to know if you damage an enemy and some other type of enemy :)) Great job!
Thank you for playing!
Yeah I'm really happy with what the artists achieved! Lucky to have them.
We wanted to develop those kind of ideas but you know how a game jam goes :D
OK gorgeous artwork well done whoever did it. The rising arena is also amazing. The fact that's it growing in size that's really cool.
But in gameplay, I was lost. Was I supposed to hunt the shadows? destroy the crystal? My strategy was to run around and shooting crystal and it somehow worked out? Wasnt sure what i was doing tho.
The idea was that everything in the game shares the same health pool, so you want to kill some enemies so less can shoot the crystal but if you kill them all you die as well. Kinda ran out of time to do tutorials XD
Glad you liked the visuals! The art team did a great job
Really cool idea, and the art is top-notch. Well done!
Thank you for playing! Glad you liked the art! The artists worked really hard!
