A super cool submission that I really enjoyed playing! At first, I didn't really understand how to properly defend from all the enemies but after playing for a while I kinda got the hang of it and it was super fun chaining kills and killing lots of enemies in 1 blow.

Cool presentation, I liked the art and music, and how "biological" everything is and I dig the main mechanic. I was just a little overwhelmed by the amount of enemies, but otherwise cool concept!
the presentation for this game was really strong. i felt like the gameplay got unmanageably hard too quick and i couldn’t survive beyond the first few waves. it would have been cool if there was something i could do to restore the health of the beast, like some randomly generated pickups. the chaining animation was great though and the whole thing felt really polished. <3
Well done! I got a score of 7140, really unique and impressive gameplay for a short game jam. Just well done.
The art and music are great, and the microscopic setting is pretty unique. Like others have said, the balance is a bit off. Maybe allowing you to shoot across the worm body in the middle would make things more manageable?
Really interesting game! I played this for a bit just trying to get good at it.
The art and music is perfect! And the control is smooth. I tried few times, but the curve just went up too quick. Wish I can beat the level to see more kinds of enemy or meet new abilty in player:D
My highscore was 7460
The art for this is really beautiful! The sound is great, the ominous menu sets the tone really nicely. Spooky and interesting to listen too! The music during the game fits really nicely. I especially like the electric zap sound. The enemy count ramps up really quickly, if they were rolled out slower it could make for a really zen experience (at least that's how it felt lining up the zapper on the first 3 slower enemies). I could see it feeling less overwhelming if the reload time for your zapper was quicker, or if you could add to the number of trip wires you place by collecting upgrades. Just an idea, great game guys nice work!
Really incredible idea! I think this game makes most interesting + unique use of the theme out of all the games I've seen so far.
Great art and colors, but the idea shines the brightest! I think the only issues I have are regarding gameplay. The best part of the game is creating these chains + traps and using them at the perfect time. However the enemy count up so quickly that you have to burn your chains faster than you have time to set them up.
I really like this idea, but I kind of wish it started with an easier layout. Amazing art, and I'm looking through your profiles for more
Great game! The art and audio is fantastic, and the game mechanics are very interesting. I got the hang of it really quick but some advice would be to have the map be on a more open space as its pretty hard to move around, especially with the center being blocked. Otherwise, its a pretty good game.
I love the art, but the game is confusing. It would be great if you added a tutorial.
Great art style and sound design. Impressive that you did most of that during the 48 hours!
I found the game quite hard, which isn't a bad thing, there's probably a lot of depth possible in the game once you get into it.
However, for me during the first couple of runs I felt pretty overwhelmed with enemies, which reduced the fun for me.
Either way - great job, very impressed
