Interesting set of controls. I learned them faster then I first expected. It made me plan out my moves more and I felt like in a turn based action strategy game of some sorts. 🙂
Thank you so much.
I'm glad you liked it.
Also, thinking about what you said, I can try changing the level design to the concept of an action Strategy game. Thanks for the suggestion and stay tuned for updates.
Unique take on the theme by linking the controls, maybe if the link controls would have been "j,k,l" I could have been using both hands to play :) . Well done!
You can still use both keys to play. Movement is intended to be done with arrow keys.
I couldn't put it clearly in the game but have mentioned in the description. will update this in the game also post review.
Thank you so much for playing though.
Ah! Okey :) Thanks for clearing it up! :)
Neat idea! The tank level is very hard, but fun to try to beat, it brings whole new level to the game. If you continue developing it, I can't help but wonder how a 4th button would mix things up. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for playing. I will update it with more feature after the review period ends. a 4th button is in the works.
stay tuned.
Really interesting take on the theme! I enjoyed it a lot, and took to the controls faster than expected. Excited to see how this is developed!
Thank you so much. Will be updating it soon.
I'm glad you enjoyed the controls, really put in a lot of thought into it.
Stay tuned.
cool game and fits the theme 100%. Slightly more check points would have been nice though.
great work
I 100% agree with you about the checkpoints, will be adding them right after the review period ends.
Thank you so much for playing.
Interesting take on the theme, I definitely enjoyed it. Having to quickly press all buttons to shoot after a jump makes me feel really skilled, even if it's a pretty simple input. The levels are also pretty replayable which is always a nice thing. I did notice a spot where the player falls without seeing what's below them, I would try to avoid it.
Overall, pretty interesting and great work for 48 hours. Good luck with the Jam!
Feedback noted. Will update that post the review phase.
Thank you so much for playing and commenting.

The controls fit the theme of the game very well and I like your pixel art style! Nice work!
Thank you so much....
It means a lot.
Joining some keys for some actions is a great mechanic and a different take on the theme from the majority of the games. It is also interesting to see such thing in a platformer.
Thank you so much. It means a lot.
nice implementation of the theme! and it's cool to try some new way of controlling - to go out of traditional one button action. good experience:)
Thank you so much for playing.
Not sure if the controls quite match the platformer gameplay, though that might just be me being stubborn. It just felt a bit annoying to be having to press 3 buttons each time I wanted to jump, rather than just one - plus the more traditional and streamlined input feels more comfortable for me.
But, I do think it's commendable to have tried a new control scheme! And it was executed well, it just might suit a more tactical game better, in my opinion. A game like Patapon, where you type commands out to a squad with this control scheme might be a more comfortable match.
Not sure.
Still though, this is a really cool little game. Good job!
Thanks for the feedback. Will check that out as well. Might actually work. Thank you so much for playing.
feels like I'm playing street fighter, but in a platformer
Thank you so much for playing.
Really creative ideas. I felt like all of my years playing Tekken really helped out here as I was pounding in combos to beat the stages. Well done!
That's great. Really Thank you for playing.
Stay tuned for more content after the review period.
Very creative and fun game! Great job!
Thank you so much for playing.
Really nice take on the theme, congrats for your game!
Thank you so much for playing.
I LOVE THIS! Maybe it's because my game also has convoluted controls, but this was a really enjoyable test of my dexterity. That first moment where you had to jump then shoot the dude in midair felt so good to pull off! Your decision to allow the key combos to be used on the button press and not the initial combination is a fantastic piece of game design, really shows how much thought you put into the main mechanic. I enjoyed the level art (not so much the UI), your color pallet helps tie everything together and your consistent pixel size helps to make everything feel cohesive.
Thank you so much.
The UI is the first thing I will be updating post the review period.
Stay tuned and please give a rating.
Loved the separation of controls. It definitely feels tedious to input multiple buttons to do what I would normally do in other games with one button. The slide functionality gets really annoying when I have to slide under two blades only to stop short slightly and get stabbed. Overall good job though on the game
Thank you so much for playing.
Will be polishing that post the review phase.

Loved how you seperated the controls, felt a bit akward getting used to it though, presentation can use some work, but overall, great job!
Thanks for the feedback. Will be updating post the review period.
Thank you so much for playing.
A novel concept but it felt a bit awkward to try and jump and move at the same time. Maybe if you moved the combination buttons to another point on the keyboard so one hand isn't overloaded? Also I managed to get pushed through a tile by an enemy and ended up walking below the ground on the third level.
Movement is supposed to be done with the Arrow keys and abilities with QWE.
Will make this more clear in the future versions.
Also, will fix bugs after the review period is over.
Thank you so much for playing and the feedback.
Very creative take on the them! Had fun playing and eventually the key inputs felt more natural in controlling my character's movement! Nice job!
Super fun game, as you said the controls are unique -- but I found that more frustrating than fun. Great art!
Will be working on making them more fun post the review time.
