I liked the way it subverted the trope of players moving together, with the red one being evil! It would've been nice to get a dedicated end screen, but it was fine. I wanted more levels!
Interesting twist on the typical two body platformer style. Very decent puzzles involved too, nice one. Could do with a few QOL features like a reset level button, but decent game overall.
Fun concept! It took me a while to understand what was happening, but once I did it was pretty fun. Sometimes when I started the next level, I would accidentally lose a life because I was holding down a key. As well, I wish there was a win screen at the end rather then just the death screen. However, good game overall!
the first "mirror" game I've seen with gravity, good choice. However, it is way too difficult to go to the next level without accidental dying. I still don't understand how the portal works. But the actual platforming felt nice, and this is made in python, so props to you on that.
i really like the linked movement mechanic. Took a while to finish because i kept dying from holding down an arrow key from the previous level, maybe disabling input for some seconds when a new level loads could help. Apart from that i really enjoyed this, and that juicy sound it plays when you hit the portal is just great.
I didnt understand that i was the blue ball and the red ball is bad before i read the description. Also i was confused when by the win and death screen was the same. Played multiple times because i thought maybe i had done something wrong. Also the lack of a retry button was annoying. Good idea nonetheless and i had fun when i understood the game.
Good game, a lot of the same concept games but not quite like this one, the sound effects are a little too loud, and there's no retry button lol, had to close the game and open to retry.
This is a fairly decent submission. I really like the cute artwork, and despite only having two levels I felt they were pretty well made. You have some nice sounds as well, and the controls are good.
The only thing I would say is that this needs a lot more polishing, the game doesn't restart after I get a game over, introducing the player the main mechanics instead of immediately throwing them in, etc.
This concept has a lot of potential, and if you decide to continue developing it I'd love to see how it turns out!
Really great core idea, It was not very clear you had to avoid the red ball in my first try (I tough the goal was to get both in the portal at the same time)

I like the artwork and the level design, and it got me scratching my head a few times, fun game!
loud SQUISH sound when entering through the nommy evil mouth looking gates confused me lol. Too loud of a sound but that's my only complaint
I was a little confused when I unzipped the file, thought you just uploaded the source files not the game, but nope, Game_jam.exe is in there and working. (this is for other people who might miss it by unzipping the file and quickly glancing)
Controls are nice, level design is very good too, this was a lot of fun figuring out which way the red cousin will go, trying to keep him away from portal.
Wrote this in python? which library did you use?
Is this the last level? cuz I always seem to get 'game over' when I get to this and jump into portal
